- Co-founder of the iconic alternative band Fall Out Boy and guitarist extraordinaire Joe Trohman stops by our episode titled, “Stop the Shaming.” Joe shines a light on how he overcame his battles with drug addiction and depression in his memoir, “None of This Rocks.” He continues the conversation with Tamron Hall explaining that many of his adulthood struggles started when he was a child. He’s now using his platform to break the stigmas around addiction and mental health, with the help of the #TamFam.

He's so handsome and nice. I've never seen an entire band with all people so authentic to where I truly don't have one favorite person in the band. I just love all of FOB. I teared up hearing Joe's story. I hope he heals from his past trauma.
Although now a man, the child in him still hurts. Wishing him healing and peace.💯💖
For sure
Praying for this young man that he realizes how he puts himself down! My heart goes out to him
i already read his story in his memoir, but seeing him talk about it on camera like this hits so much harder. as a longtime fan, i'm so proud of joe and i truly hope that he is healing ❤
So proud of him for having the strength to bring this to light and trying to now heal and move forward in a healthy way. Much love and respect.
I love learning about him and knowing how strong he is. He's an amazing person
Title is wrong, it's Fall Out Boy not Fallout Boy
Yes
i love joe trohman so much
He's so handsome. . Appreciate his vulnerability
Can't imagine my life where my mom didn't show me love and affection. all things considered, Joe turned out alright and he seems happy and healthy.
As a life long fan ( a true lake effect kid, like lake Michigan is right outside of my apartment) it's really reassuring that we all have trauma that needs to be healed. I've love those four fools all my life and I wish him nothing but the best and healing❤
Such a great interview, I'm so glad Joe did this. He's always been so quiet in the band and I knew the least about him. Really hope he gets better and comes back stronger than ever!
I grew up with FOB as one of my favourites, still are. Glad to see my fellow Yehudi keep it real.
Big Pharm can heal but also harm. I wonder about Joe’s fruit and clean water intake. Exercise, sunlight and stretching.
Joe we all love you so much❤
I like FOB but never really looked too much in to what the members did, was more of a passing interest. But wow this poor guy! So proud of him for making his way through things. More people need his strength.
Thank you @Tamron Hall Show!! What an important topic! Mental Illness is still stigmatized and it is one of the main factors for those who need help, but won't seek it-here is a rock star that many may know, opening the door to show that getting help is necessary!!
Joe is very brave. My mom wasn't very caring when I was younger, I gave her chickenpox but she hadn't had immunity from it which was almost fatal to her, losing function of her pancreas and some brain damage due to lack of oxygen. She was manipulative, cheated on my dad and I broke contact with her in the last few years, I was done with it, even if it wasn't her fault, she blamed me all the time for making her the way she was. Respect to him to talking about this and being a great dad to his kids and making sure they are listened to and are loved.
this is such a sweet interview
omg, Joe: can we be best friends?? bc I just LOVE this guy! THANK you for stepping up & into the gap for so many of us who have experienced suffering, debilitating, severe clinical depression & no matter the story of how we got there. the understanding & education about it is so important, as is this interview!👍👍🧚🏾♀much gratitude!🤗💕💛💖💛
He looks great. I love him so much. Hoping he continues to heal.
I'm really glad he took time off for himself I hope he can heal
We need more of joe in fall out boy interviews he's so underrated

Joe Trohman Is The Lead Guitar And Back Up Singer For FOB
We love you Joe
okay this convinced me to finally buy it
You Rock Joe
Love you, Joe 💙
Love you Joe!!!!!
Same As David Desrosiesrs From Simple Plan
"Grammy losses..." his words, says a lot...
what
Wtf does no one have take this to your grave as one of their album. Seen so many of his interviews of late and they only show cork tree-mania
What
I feel like in a fictional reality where the band broke up and got wacky alternative jobs, Joe's would be an author who's interviewing about his memoirs and being a celebrity game show host or something. Haha!
Drug dependency starts with these legal drug dealers aka doctors prescribing pills to patients and then it’s too late to stop
He is so sexy!!
Where the hell is take this to your grave?
