Love this version, sound better than actual record..Love Love Tony sweet talking at the end...lol..man he sures knows how to get a woman hot and bothered..that dude was something else
b jor If he gets you "hot and bothered" as a woman you need professional help. He sounds adorable here. Cute enough. This is a voice of a child. Creep.
Aww, happy to help bring you back to a more innocent and sweeter time! ☺ I was just a toddler when this song was hot but I remember it well and love it to this day!
I remember this like it was yesterday. Came on the radio all the time in Houston when I was in High School. I actually recorded this off of the radio back then to play it for my girlfriend. I attempted to sing along with the lead vocals over the phone lol.
Tony + Band = Musical Perfection Tony was truly blessed with a God given talent that was destined to be shared with the world; he was beautiful on the outside and to evoke all these emotions that people share in their comments he had to be beautiful on the inside too!! RIP Tony...truly gone too soon!!
Yeah I hear yuh. I was living in the DC area when this version was on the radio. Of course I had a blank tape locked and loaded in my tape deck ready to record it when it came on.
I remember the first time K104 played this on the radio....after that, they never played the regular version....🤔🤔🤔🤔I requested the song back then alot🤣🤣
I only heard this version on the radio when I was younger and I always tried to record it on my tape deck and damn if I didn't always miss it. . . I used to be mad as hell. Great song though; and Tony (R.I.P) was a prodigy with God given talent
Javonte Treble I was saying the very same thing about live performances, interviews etc! They were my favorite group in the 90's & I have to admit I can't really shake em now ! Please people whatever you may have &/or find share!
Back in the day I was caking on the phone with this chic and the radio would play this every night right before 10pm so I would be on the phone purposely to sing this version and she would expect it too..Good times..
Dang I been lookin for this version for so loooong! hahahahaha This live version is classic. Thanks for postin it. I the quality is better than alot of the originals posted.
You might right. They might be actually singing live behind the backing track. I wish there was more live material out there from Hi-Five. They're one of my favorite groups of all time. If anybody reading this has more Hi-Five footage out there (interviews, performances etc.), please share!
I remember they performed this on Arsenio Hall. They tore it up. I taped it off of the TV and used to play it in my car. The quality was horible but they sounded so awsome. I'd love to see that performance again but can't find it on youtube anywhere.
@chilen40 Oddly enough, the Arsenio Performance of which you speak WAS here on TH-cam, for about two years. Upon doing a search for it today however, I found nothing. Unfortunately, it seems to have been removed. I do have this on Mp3, from where I ripped it off of that video, if you want it. However, they only posted up part of the performance, so the song starts up at the end of the second verse.
I remember one of their live versions of this song being played around 1990-1 on the radio in the Bay Area after they performed it at KMEL Summer Jam. Don't think this one's it but still nice to have this version up
Whoever found THIS version and KNEW that THIS is the one we all wanted ! Thank Youuuuuuuu ☺️
I had this version when I was 12 and I used to rewind the shit out of it!! Love me some Tony Thompson and Hi Five!! Plus it’s 2024 and I still bang them faithfully ❤️❤️

Creep.
Keisha Nicole Dang woman why you so hard,

Man! Tony could straight blow! He sounded wonderful every time LIVE!

2017 still listening to Tony T. No voice like his. Saw him live when I was 16 remember it like yesterday
Tony's voice is very awesome and also Treston's voice.
Actually that second voice belongs to Toriano Easley, the original member who unfortunately went to jail for accidentally killing someone.
@@chadelo2891 actually, that’s Treston. Me and my partners, Armando Colon and Gerard Harmon, did this remix.
Treston did sing the song live!
People always trying to discredit Treston. Smh
U can even tell the difference between the studio version and this live version
he voice, that voice, I would not mind at all if he talked to me about anything. just to hear that voice in person would make my heart race more.
