I like the medium size rabbits they aren't tough so better for frying grilling BBQ cooking. As for the big ones this time of year I don't see many big ones out in the day seems like the full size come out at night, or maybe early evening the bucks have a bit of a fight. What your doing is much like the hunter gatherers do it with reliable trapping, and opportunistic hunting small game. I think they went more after the big game to get the bonus of the hides for clothes and bigger bones for tools. It's not totally free cost you 2p for that show off shot.
good stuff keep it up. bat ul be bird flew fox otters rats are getting it down here as well as the birds. keep a tally of all u get and see how harder it gets in winter. used to lamp with lurcher them bunnys got hard to catch at the end of winter. same with ferriting you dig up loads more at end of season they just dont bolt out.

Shooting that 2p is the level of accuracy you need to hunt with a slingshot. If you can’t do that don’t hunt.
