Great you showed us how well your dogs are trained but not how to do it

Wow. I thought my Boston was obedient until I saw this. Not in any way "miserable" looking dogs. They live to please their owners. Look at their ears pulled back, constantly looking up for cues. They couldn't be happier. Maybe some people's opinions of a "happy" dog include jumping up, yipping and running in circles. Great work.

I rather them be like this than hit by a car.

Do you have a Boston? We have three Bostons. These dogs look frightened, and their ears being pulled back shows their fright. If people can't train a Boston in their own home without sending it off to a camp, then they should not have a dog at all. A Boston terrier does not belong in this environment. Sure they could be happier, i.e., with us and three of their buddies.

I've had Bostons for over 20 years. If you believe that "ears back" means frightened, then I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.

N Kirby I agree with you.. Bostons have there ears back a lot. That doesn't mean they are frightened. My Boston has his ears back when he is happy and running up to me or someone he knows.. he has his ears up when he is looking outside or listening to noises. His ears are up when he chews on his toys too. He even has his ears down when he is going for a ride as we ride down the road. The minute the car stops he puts his ears up. No way does it mean he is frightened when his ears are back. I don't see these people being a harm to the Bostons they are trying to help them have manners. The dogs don't seem skittish when they look skittish theeeeen there is something wrong somewhere. I dearly love my Bostons and I am a huge dog and animal lover. I would never be on a persons side if they are treating these babies terribly. ;)

    Some dogs need this training.
Never thought I would say so before I watched a spoiled 8 year old Boston terrier almost maul a baby..
Dog would have ripped the face off the one year old in the arms of her father if the father didn't step in.
    Just terrible.
I want to send him to dog boot camp
    It's a family members dog
    Not mine.
I don't want to be around this menace dog

The dogs are not miserable; they are just focused. I have a Boston. Boston's LOVE to be part of the gang. They love to please and they are REALLY smart. Adopt a Boston Terrier from your local rescue agency; there are plenty out there. These dogs are awesome.
