NEW UPDATED VERSION HAS BEEN UPLOADED HERE: th-cam.com/video/R0KwEfZJFn0/w-d-xo.html
This version was ripped from in-game before the official album release. It has some wonky mixing and is missing some content.
It took 2 games and a DLC to finally fight one of these things...
Totally worth it
2 dlc
@@isaacduraes7685 Dang wasn't even aware about the first
3 games and 2 dlc if you count call of the mountain
I never wouldve thought the soundtrack for fighting a HORUS machine would be so beautiful. The previous FARO machines all had rough, scratchy, angry sounds to their music. This one has a masterful mixed sense of desperation and tension, but also a sense of awe to convey that this is a machine that is destructive and unfathomably large. Absolutely amazing work in music direction.
You imagine meet this Giant machine in real life?
@@bombas_unitasDefinitely would be terrified of that
The Horizon games is so underrated. Amazing franchise with a surprisingly great lore
I like to imagine this was the music being played whenever Enduring Victory soldiers had to fight one of these things.
I wish they would make a horizon game in the era of the war against Faro robots would be epic
@@aimp227 if that was on the pc I would legit be like "TAKE MY MONEY" for such a game.
@@aimp227 I feel like that would be possible after horizon 3
@@aimp227 I would pre order that today if they announced it for 2027 😅
Nah they'd blast metal while blasting metal
This was one of those moments in a game, where the absolute epicness of the scene just makes you stop and watch. Looking at the Horus move down to the beach, with the raging storm behind it was just jaw dropping. Incredible.
How can a theme song be so good I need this at the top of my playlist.
i'm very patiently waiting for the official album release that has better mastering in it, so that more people can fall in love with it! this instantly became an all time horizon cue.
Imagine being the designer for this thing and thinking "yep, absolutely nothing can go wrong here".
I would mention being one of the ones to actually put it together and build it but that would have all been automated.

The biggest machine that has been encountered in the entire Horizon season so far and this soundtrack is great for the whole atmosphere and the battle
4:30 to 5:00 Gives me chills. It’s so beautifully composed.
Just beat the dlc last night, I loved it so much!
I liked the quiet parts of this song because it let you hear the sounds and force of the machine as it crawled across the beaches.
Feel like that set alot of the tension by doing less. Still a beautiful song
this is literally all i ever wanted since the disappointing final boss fight of zero dawn, and everything was perfect, the theme, the moments leading up to it, the atmosphere of the fight, and the fight itself was super fun. literally everything i could ask for was given to me and i could not be happier
it makes me very cautiously ask what they still have in the tank for the ending of the third game. how do they top the horus?
@@randomgameandfilmscoreeditsIn my opinion, with the third chapter of the trilogy we will have many answers to many outstanding questions. Then it will be really wonderful to finally see the much desired Apollo database. In my opinion they will show us videos of some battles of the Faro plague, what the Horus titans were really capable of doing at maximum power, not to mention the millions of bringers of death and corruptors that you can't even count. How will they overcome the Horus? I think Nemesis will be even more terrifying, second they're saving the best for last
Imagine if it got hold of HEPHASTUS. After being relatively fine for most of the game, it then gets access to the creativity and imagination of HEPHASTUS.
Some sort of dragon or even like a brother moon from dead space
@@soulstealer5625 you know i was trying to think of how they would top a slaughterspine as an enemy and now i see that a dragon is completely possible and i want it more than anything now
I feel like this particular song was just perfect for the fight scene with a machine as big as a freaking Horus! Of cause I was expecting with more stressfull notes. But i honestly found this theme song to be relaxing, as it was enough stress with fighting that machine. In my pov I think they did a good music selection. It also feels way more sci-fi, which this series is "Action, Sci-fi".
Such a good battle theme. It's epic and I like that it's a little unsettling too and puts you on edge. The music in Cauldron Epsilon had a similarly unsettling feeling.
Thank you, love this theme
3:39 - 4:00 is my favourite.
Yes
When I listen this it sounds for me so beautiful, and then theme changes more sad and also a bit epic, but no too epic, like saying: "If you don't stop that thing it destroys all of us" surely when real battle against that thing start middle of sparks while storm comes
That how I imagine it
Never played that game, but that music just make my imagination fly
Hans Zimmer himself would be proud of this soundtrack. Ascension is good one too. Where Aloy scans Londra's spaceship.
I want the music to be more like the Slaughterspine's theme where it's more electronic and such but this is still nice.
This is much more creative and epic
A very good tune. But it does not match the power of Horus a bit, it could be great, for example, for a battle with an army of Skorobeev as a moment of desperation.
it wasn't at ALL what i was expecting, but i think that's why i love it. it really captures the haunting beauty of the horus unit, and then finally kicks into the typical horizon action sound in the final phase of the fight when you have the horus's full attention.
personally i also appreciated the vocal line having shades of dies irae throughout, as this thing not getting defeated would mean death for everyone. very cinematic scoring.
It would have been similar to the Slaughterspines's theme.
Very disappointed it didn't have vibes like Planned Obsolescence from the first game's final boss.
the OST of this franchise is weird.
Not my taste at all. Too psychedelic. Hate it.
L tbh
I don't know what psychedelic's you are on right now but I don't see anything wrong with it. You're the problem here not the music...
@@jozsefunderscore2320 L take
….then why even bother taking time out of your day to stop by this video and make this comment?
