I know Steve's free fall is him going out of elytra but it would be funny if it was him looking up and punching the air since that's what everyone does when falling to their doom.
I think a lot of the characters could stand to have had different freefall animations for contexts outside of their up-B moves. The transition for Luigi has some really jarring pop to it, for example.
Aren't all of them the Animations that transition from their recoveries that put them into "Helpless" state? Although some helpless state still allows some characters to still perform certain attacks (Sonic for one) and others we rarely see (Kirby and Pyra among the few) which can happen when their UpB was interrupted before returning to Idle Animation? I remember reading something about how some characters didn't have "Helpless" Animation because they never use it, but with Pac-Man, it crashes the game to some characters that needs to force a "helpless" state, which makes sense.
Some characters aren't able to become helpless from their own moves, but they still have an animation for it because of Pac-Man's trampoline. Also, this never crashes the game, but I think I know what you're referring to. This sort of thing didn't exist in Brawl, which meant some characters could never become helpless. ROB didn't even have a helpless animation, so trying to force helplessness through hacking crashes the game.

It's so cool seeing all the little easter eggs that the devs put in for something you almost never see in game, like Kirby's special fall being his long-fall pose in most of his games
Fun Fact: Pacman is actually inspired by a pizza, so basically, the person/people who invented pizza is responsible for Pacman's concept, creation, and existence. 🤓

i didn't think of that, but i can try it and see how it goes. i have like 3 video ideas i'm working on right now, including soras video, so id probably try working on that afterwards.

Not every character has an up-special that puts them in special fall. For some characters it's only side-special. And some have no special fall at all, with those you can only see them with Pac-Man's trampoline.

Yes but its different because they can use an attack or dodge in that animation
