3 Days on the Pine River with my Aspire 105

This is a video of a 3 day kayaking/camping trip down the Pine River in northern Michigan I did with a friend. We loaded all the gear we needed into our kayaks and everything went smoothly. We started at Briar Patch and got out at Low Bridge. We camped at Silver Creek the first night, and Peterson the second night. Shot with my GoPro Session on my Wilderness Systems Aspire 105.

WOWZER!!! That looked like so much fun. Great video. Thank you for sharing. I am 60 years old and I have always wanted to kayak but never could because of work, work, and more work. Now that I am fully retired, I am going to do it! WHAT??? No life vest??? How many miles did you guys ending up doing in 3 days of kayaking?

How many total hours of kayaking was this trip? Did a livery drive you guys and drop you off where you started and you paddled back to the livery where your car was? If so, which one? I love this river! I did a 4-6 hours paddle a few years ago and loved it!

It was about 13 hours total. 5 hours each of the first 2 days and 3 hours on the last. We used Pine River Paddlesports for carspotting, but next time we would just bring a second vehicle to do it ourselves because of the price they charge.

i went down a river and found that with the skeg down the river pushed me right down the middle. with it up, i was all over the place

Thinking of getting one of these to take out into the sound here in NC. My dad, my brother and I are going to go out to Bear Island/Hammocks Beach in April and the kayaks we have aren't quite suitable for that. Do you think this would be a good kayak for that?
