not a chance, theres just to many front runners who either A.. Get the lead over him and that would crush his chances because he needs the lead or B he s gonna be pushed way to hard early on.. He s a nice horse and he will ensure this race has a pretty good pace early ,IMO..Either way good luck to u on derby day.Hope u have a great and profitable day

I’m a newbie in horseracing but pretty sure that these lady knows exactly what she’s talking about pedigree/bloodline, coz I’m a gamefowl breeder myself though horse breeding & gamefowl breeding is a totally different but when it comes to breeding itself you’re number priority in selecting a good horse or gamefowl is a great pedigree brood parents that produce 50% & up winning percentage of their offsprings and that mitochondrial dna is pass along by mother to her daughter to continue producing quality winning offsprings. We call them a prepotent bloodline!

I'm just guessing here but personally think that when it comes to surface, it's some physical makeup of course but also just personal preference for the horse. There are tennis players that love the hard court over the clay. Or clay over grass, or grass over everything... That's not because one has bigger feet or is faster on hard vs grass vs clay. It's how it makes them feel. Maybe they prefer the hard court early then prefer clay or grass as they get older. I'm guessing with horses it's just how they like it. And if they're successful at whichever surface then we have to assume they like it and feel comfortable with it
