They're selling the form factor. Although not right for everybody, they will really match certain activities. It's nice to see something for outdoor applications that isn't one size fits all. I'd hate to see that connector not be the standard. It would obsolete all my radios. The radio itself isn't waterproof. The CT tones have assigned numbers. Reminds me of an old Cobra microtalk. Runs at 2 watt maximum.

I switched out my carabiner with similar size but different color.
How do you turn off and on the alert tones on the hand mic.

They do not require any type of license.

Urben around 2 to 2.5 in open areas further
rember you are running a radio with less than a watt of power

I can do the same with my radio as you do with yours my radio is on 5 watts not kiddy channel like yours is.
