I did miss some things in the video so I built a check list that you can get by using the included Google Drive Link docs.google.co... . Three things I did not go over was the glass, seat belts and doors.
I will be making smaller, shorter videos breaking down each of the topics. Rust is a big factor when it comes to safety inspections and a lot more complex. It will be its own video where I break down how to determine if the state deems the car to be safe to be on the road.

Great video, I wanna get my safety inspection and emission license and this has been very informative while I'm researching all this
My car tires make rhythmic noise and I had searched for the cause without avail. I watch this video and see you use wire brush to clean the wheel hub and I realized that the cause of my tire noise is probably some debris get in between the wheel and the hub that makes the wheel wobbles when rotate and cause the tire noise.
No scanning for potential emissions problems? What is the fail thickness for brakes? 2mm/2 or 3/32 nds?

In some counties don’t require emissions testing is the same thing in the safety inspection without ob2 I am correct?
In the counties that are not required to have an emissions inspection they do a visual "anti-tampering check" when performing the safety inspection. The inspector is required to verify that the emissions equipment is there and it looks to be functioning. There is no OBD or gas cap check.
You should be using anti seal not high temp Grease but the high temp grease is better than nothing
We prefer using the high temp brake grease because it does not dry out and it does not make a silver mess everywhere. Much easier clean up than anti-sieze. To each their own.
@@kingsautorepairinc.I add a little gear oil & mix with antiseize because it's not a detergent oil to collect dirt. I'm 71, have been doing for decades, & live in WPA.😉😁✊️🖖👍🇺🇸
Here in Australia all the pink slip is just a money making reort i hate to see pensers get ripped off and get charged for uncessary work
There is no state inspection after this year
The safety and emissions programs are not going away. Elected officials float the idea of getting rid of it at every election cycle for votes.
@@kingsautorepairinc. from what I’ve been seeing there isn’t going to be inspections on vehicles unless you buy them from a dealer and emissions is only in counties that require them.
hell yeah we can hope! I am really hoping we don't have to worry about inspections, just got my muffler delete done and apparently in PA thats a nono , also so sick of inspections, I am a car freak I know if anything is wrong with my cars.
@@joesmith9216 In franklin County PA A lot people be driving around really loud exhaust and some do no cats and we don't have emissions testing only safety inspection and no one cares if you live non emissions county you should be fine.
