I think the time has come for Dallas. Reminds me of the Bulls who had to play against the Pistons in the playoffs after being beaten twice the previous years.
They are young, emerging, they look like they 've build that chemistry, they figured out how to defend.
The Clippers are in the other side of the hill in their careers. Prime Harden seems far away, Westbrook from MVP became a bench player , Paul George has to prove himself once again and Kawhi is not healthy for one more time.

IF Kawhi isn't healthy then I would say thats true, but the problem is no one knows for sure whether Kawhi is injured or just being rested. Perk makes a great point, Kyrie is playing with joy. This kyrie may be the best the world will ever see; "Enlightened Kyrie". Kyrie is happy to be in Dallas where the media doesn't hound him for every little opinion. Mental health and anxiety is a big factor with most players believe it or not.

He picked against him in 2014 Finals against Miami and once again, he got it wrong so
SAS was rooting for Kawhi the most when he first went to the Clippers. They were supposed to be the team to take over LA, but they kept falling short, so now he probably wont believe in them until they do.

This team reminds me a little of the season before last that had Brunson on it, the last half of the season they just got better and better, they look like they've a head of steam.

This series can genuinely go either way, these two teams are just that good. I can say confidentely tho that whichever team advances between these two, I believe they will make it to the WCF at the very least, but possibly even the finals. It would be hard for either team to beat the Nuggets because the Nuggets have too perfect a team, but I don't believe either team would have a hard time advancing past the second round into the WCF.

I think minnesota build this team to beat denver but now they have to face a time shooting so much
Suns are up and down though. There are games even last month that made suns look like the worse tram in rhe league. We'll see. Playoffs is different, one week to prepare for defensive schemes.

@@WaveRider1989because Vogel plays 3 guards in the starting lineup. Idk that there’s every been a team in NBA history that made a finals starting 3 shooting guards but I don’t see the Suns doing it. If I’m not mistaken, the only elite guard on the Wolves starting lineup that the Suns really have to worry about “containing” is Anthony Edwards. If KAT and Gobert are on the floor, Suns can get going from the mid range bc of all the drop coverage but they’re also getting enough stops bc Wolves don’t have as many elite offensive guards and forwards to deal with off the dribble as the Clippers Mavs and OKC do. That’s the difference. Suns have no defensive wings with length to bother the Clippers like the Pelicans and Wolves do, which is why Wolves and Pelicans do WAY better against Clippers than Suns do. Do you know that Frank Vogel lost 10 GAMES IN A ROW that he coached against Clippers until the last game when Clippers sat all their starters? We see why. He doesn’t adjust the starting lineup based on the opponent and sits the bench players that consistently contribute to wins whenever they play, just to play the worst bench player that is always a negative on the floor. Vogel is the worst.

To me, this series will come down to Kawhi and Harden. If the former is healthy, and the latter doesn't choke, Dallas will have a hard time winning the series. But then again, I can NOT count Luka and Kyrie out. Especially with the new help they got from the trade.
It's much more likely given past history that Kawhi will be unavailable or injured and that Harden will choke.

LA beat Luka essentially without their PGs last time, people forget Beverly-Rondo got benched for being too small & Reggie Jackson, a glorified SG averaging 2.7APG, was the "PG". In reality Kawhi-Pg were playing PG for LA doing all the ball handling on top of everything else they did. Harden-Russ are actually big enough to counter Luka and are HARD matchups for him.

2. Clippers inconsistentcy by frontcourt defense
3. Moving the ball
4. 3pt shooting/ LUKA/KAI
5. Clippers only depends in the Talent
6. Especially the Revenge mode of Luka
