And the memories just came flooding back, many moons ago I too owned a 98 GW same color as yours. I currently own a 2016 with intentions of getting my last bike a 2025 GW ( hopefully a anniversary edition if Honda offers one) and although the 2018+ 6th gens are very nice people find it hard to believe when I tell them that the new ones have less "standard" accessories and functions than the old ones. That is a very nice bike you have be safe, keep those fists in the twists and knees in the breeze good sir. 😊
@dimitrispratling4785 the new ones sure did lose some features... I had a flat tire on a trip..the buit in aircompressor came in handy.. That's a feature these new bikes still need.. Good luck on your 2025... I would like to find a 2017 in perfect condition. Man thanks for watching. We are doing a video with John Schneider today.. Make sure you subscribe and keep watching..
Enjoyed your video. Last month I purchased a 99 Aspencade. Having some work done on it that was above my skill level and looking forward to getting it on the road soon.
You are welcome...Im going to show a video on how to fold of the trunk and bags up out of the way of my 1500 bike..You can access everything on the rear wheel
Well if 2 tone paint fades and starts peeling..What should you do?..You will never match the paint ..only thing to do is going completely different..it's not painted on dollar bills.. it's hydrographics of 100 dollar bills...On My work truck I have a tag on the front of it . The tags people have a name or football team type tag .. It's a 100 dollar bill. Didn't need a name on it just the 100 dollar bill. You do see it's a 2 tone bike. everywhere besides the center covers over the radio that tacky dollar bill was that 2 tone.. Maybe not your pattern but do you have a better idea. No way would I repaint the bike it's basically original
Great walk-through! So happy to see another one top shape Gold Wing ❤ I’ve baught one also :) (two months ago) She’s got 32k miles, 1997 SE. Did all the service myself and ready to take her on a long trip 😂 Thanks for the nice video. Here is my little one: th-cam.com/video/jpnGjuuyvBQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PPXQIou52jvpO98F

I would never insult Honda by comparing my Goldwing to a Cadillac.
Old time Cadillac
I’m from England and this is hands down my new favourite accent.
Why thank ya!
Great walk through, I have a 94 Gl1500 SE
Thank you! Appreciate the comment.
I agree with you, if the 1500 did NOT have carburators, it would be the BEST Goldwing ever. The TRUE KING!
That is for a fact
I have a 99. Great bike , super reliable
First motorcycle i rode was on the back of my dad's 1982 goldwing.. I was hooked on Hondas since

I would like to stumble on a 2017 goldwing
Thanks 😊
Only thing I don't like about this white goldwing is the tacky paint scheme where dollar bills are painted into trim
