Who else here has abandoned a sketchbook less than halfway through, and they feel like they wasted money? Like, mine has the most thinnest and fragile paper so I don't really like it that much, but I also feel ungrateful now lol.
I once carried mine with me and one day, it was raining heavily on the way home and I had no umbrella. The bus stop was just two crossings nearby and there were to options, wait it out, or run as fast as I can. I ran to the bus stop and got home and the bottom side of the sketchbook got wet so the all pages were ruined.

I watch a lot of Sketchbook Tours. But I really love Echo Gillette's and LeslieLu Marie's tours because their art is so cute and the voices are so calming.................. ahhh my therapy
Thanks for being such a nice person. It can be very demotivating going through this whole art thing alone, so it's encouraging to be reminded that everybody starts from somewhere. You and other art channels have been a boon, and I can't thank you enough.

You could probably fix that sketchbook cover problem by putting a paper over it with small price of tape or some glue and use it as a drawing page and draw something then remove it and re-do it
I agree with you Lulu, you shouldn't cringe at your old art because every piece that you do is a step toward you getting better, theres no point laughing at the first step you took to being a great artist.

You know you're a good artist when the line art you drew traditionally looks like it was drawn digitally and looks amazing. I love a lot of the art in these sketchbooks. :)

I don't have old sketchbooks because I was never super into art until recently (I did do a LOT of doodling on the corners of notes and homeworks) but I DO have super cringey stories that I half wrote. Honestly some of my stories are still pretty cringey lmao.

And also i would enjoy it more before, now or i have no time to draw at all or don't know what to draw.
