    Brothers who are beginners, start with main compound exercices to build a strength base and stabilisers, Bench press, squat, over head press and deadlifts or rows, then add the accessories exercices shown in this video. Good beginners programs : starting strength, 5x5 stronglifts, push pull.

    Great video Ali Dawah. I hope you keep the fitness videos coming InshaAllah. This is a very good initiative you have taken.
    Here's a few more tips so that everyone can further benefit:
    Tips for dieting:
    -Diet is more than half the battle. You cannot out-train a bad diet.
    -Make sure your diet is on point to maximize benefit from working out in the gym.
    -To gain muscle mass/weight, you have to put your body in a caloric surplus. That means you need to be eating more than your maintenance calories. I.e If you're maintenance calories are 2500 cal, you need to eat more than 2500 cal to gain weight, and less than 2500 calories per day to lose weight [Caloric deficit].
    -When cutting, lower the number of calories slowly say by a 100 a week. So 2400 in week 1, 2300 in week 2, and so on. This is to ensure you maintain as much of your hard earned muscle mass as possible while cutting.
    -To lose weight, lower or eliminate carbs from your diet such as rice or bread. Keep the protein high so you maintain muscle. Eat meat from lean sources of protein such as fish and chicken.
    -To lose weight, you can go on a no carb diet. Eat anything with protein, and anything leafy. So an example of a good breakfast would be boiled eggs and spinach.
    -Beware not everyone is good at handling carb depleted diets - although your body will adjust for a few weeks, carb depletion will affect your mood.
    -Try to eat your carbs early on in the day so that they will be used/burnt throughout the day and just eat lean sources of protein with veggies at night.
    Tips for training:
    -Focus on building a strong foundation by doing compound exercises and increasing the weight on these as you get stronger. Few examples of compound exercises: Barbell Benchpress, shoulder press, deadlifts, high rows and low rows, squats.
    -Throw in a few isolation exercises to supplement your compound movements such as dumbbell curls, tricep extensions, side raises etc.
    -Remember, pushing exercises make use of your chest and triceps, and pulling movements make use of your back and biceps. So if your doing dumbbell benchpress, your triceps are being exercised aswell, and if you are doing any back exercise, your biceps are being used as well [rows].
    -If splitting up exercises for different body parts is not working for you and/or you are bored of it, switch to full body workouts 3-4 days a week.
    -Do not train for more than 45 mins - 1 hour. Time for the body to enter catabolic mode [muscle breakdown] varies from person to person but generally is the aforementioned time. 45 mins - 1 hour is more than enough exercise as you do not want to start breaking down your hard-earned muscle.
    -Rest. When you rest/sleep, that is the time growth hormone is released and that is when muscular repair occurs and you make muscular gains.
    -Patience. Bodybuilding takes time. Consistency is key.
    -You have to enjoy the journey of your physical progress. If you are not enjoying the journey, then don't do it. It's not supposed to be a punishment.
    -Be happy with your progress, however little. Positive mindset is the key. You have to love yourself first before others can love you. You have to emit positive energy/vibes.

    Your supposed to find your one rep max and then train at 50/60% of that then gradually increase it over time up to 80/90% then you re-do the one rep max and then repeat the process.

      No you're not. Number crunching makes sense if you're purely training for strength, but if you're training for aesthetic reasons (building muscles), then focusing on on one rep maxes, percentages etc isn't even part of the equation. Training for physique development and training for strength are two different things.

      Wheitlifting is also good for women (be it for the sake of losing weith or to get curves) They don't need to worry about "gaining too much muscles" since their bodies don't produce that much testosterone anyway. But I agree that it's not necessary for women to do like 5 biceps exercises. Maybe it's better to focus on legs (and compound exercises in general).

    Good video if you just want to keep toned, but for the people serious about it need to incorporate the core exercises. Squats, Deadlifts and Press.

    First of all I want to say that Allah does not look at your appearance, he looks at your deeds.
    The Prophet (pbuh) stated the following:
    "Allah does not look at your outward appearance and your goods. He looks only at your hearts and your deeds." (Muslim, Birr, 33; Ibn Majah, Zuhd, 9; Ahmad b. Hanbal, 2/285, 539)
    Good deeds are what we should be concerned about not our physical appearance. Who do you want to please? the people, or the almighty Allah, but this should not demotivate you from being healthy.
    Second of all if this training regime is post to make you stronger then why did you not implement some more heavy duty strength based conditioning such as strongmen? Apart from the military shoulder press there wasn't much.
    Dead lifts and squats are certainly a lot more effective for overall muscle growth and Hgh- release.
    It does not make sense that Allah prefers the strong over the weak, as not all people are able to gain strength, eat healthy, and so forth, because of sickness or other things.
    Ali my brother, there are a lot people out there, younger sisters and younger brothers, they look up to you. Just be careful of what you post and say without thinking things through, because they will spread the message and give the wrong idea to people around us.
    Ok, I know I said a lot in here but I felt the need too. If there is any mistake that I made than please go ahead and correct me.
    Guys, I am like the biggest hypocrite, but I have that basic knowledge, thanks to my beloved parents that taught me and the Hadith's and the Quran's I've gotten from/ through them.
    Thank you for your care and help, and your dawah to the people. May Allah(s.w.a.) bless you and send blessings upon you and your family.
