    Why in the hell would you think it's okay to use someone's victimization by molestation against them in an argument. That's beyond low

      Elaine Peralta It comes from the trauma of molestation. The damage is so deep. Without counseling help, they will be at each other's throats again.

      He started having sex with her when she was 13 and he was 23 years old. I don’t want ANY advice from a child molester. Judge “brought up” they been together for over 18 years but didn’t mention their exact ages at the time she glossed over it. He’s a creep and she’s broken. Pass on that podcast.

    The fact that she was 13 and he was 23 wasn't just "skipped" over by the judge, which is why she was explaining how the connection happened in the first place. It doesn't mean they were sexually involved. And since it's 18 years and 8 kids later, it's neither here nor there. They both have been through some horrible things but have to learn how to heal (which they obviously haven't done) in order to stop hurting each other and make it work.

      drlovie -- I've never been so conflicted by a D.C. episode. With both, I was angry, then sympathetic, then angry, then sympathetic again. Then his tears at the end really melted me. Though both did I few things in this episode that infuriated me, I really can't judge these folks without walking a mile in their shoes. If I went through what they went through, I might be far worse off.

    • @drlovie
      @drlovie 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Hang Tyme you are so sweet. Yes, we can’t judge. The judge wanted us to know their background before we just focus on the age issue.
      I feel really bad for them. Molestation is a horrible bad gift that keeps on giving. The molestors don’t care about the extent of their evil ways. The husband is prob trying to show his manhood all the time bc he was likely molested by a male. They both really need our compassion.

    First of all, everyone who has been molested as a child needs therapy, and for the most part, that is the whole world. It happens far too often and is pushed under the rug. Everyone needs to work through that trauma because when you don't it manifests itself in so many different ways. Most predators were preyed upon as children, it leads to a serious depletion of self-worth and will roll you down a road of self-destruction.

      Pat P - Don't wanna judge her because molestation could turn anyone cold. But that's one of the lowest, most disgusting acts I've ever seen on this show.

  • @chloerobinson2069

    So much sadness and pain in their eyes. I hope they both remember that there is so much light within them. God lives inside all of us. Sometimes it's easy to forget that. Be bold, be brave and harness that God given light that you both have. Your worth isn't tied to what was done to you. With much counseling and spiritual guidance you'll soon see that as a collective unit, your love will move mountains. Stay encouraged.

There are some serious issues on this show that are exposed and we can all learn from that. Thank you Judge Lynn.

      I'm very much not ashamed. In an argument ain't no boundaries. I've been with this man since I was 12 years old had a baby at 12 and been by his side. Even after he was arrested for impregnating a minor I refused to cooperate with the courts and the charges were later dropped. Through it all I've been by his side and he has bought up my past as well to hurt me. So before you have so much to say have your fact straight.

    She is a she-devil. Who ridicules their partner over their childhood molestation publicly!? Who da f*ck does that?? I have an ex with whom I had a VERY toxic break-up which included her cutting up literally every piece of garment owned. HOWEVER, when we were together she confided in me things from her childhood that I am taking to the grave - despite the fact that she probably still hates my guts and we haven't spoken in over 10 years.
    This wife cannot be a good person (or mother) if she is carrying on in this manner.
    Disgusting.

      I don't think it's "Let the woman provide"... He's bringing in money and she's bringing in more. $4,000 a month is a lot of money by anyone's standards. She, in fact, is the provider because most jobs are not dishing that out.
