Brad you Paul and Baxter have helped me to a higher place of rest in a storm. As Paul says ( my great sadness) is in it's 3rd year. But the love of my father and seeking his face I am at peace. It helps to ask oneself how have I thought God had let me down? What does that say about how I view Gods goodness? What does God want me to know about this belief I've learned? The Trinity is more than able to walk us through this, with kindness and love.
And if you want to take it a step further... we invite you to look into the things you haven't "forgiven God" for. Pray a prayer of forgiveness and see what happens in your heart. God doesn't NEED us to forgive Him, but WE need it. We need to release the judgements we've had against Him - simply for our inner peace. And to dismantle, of course, the lies we believe about Him.

I would disagree. Andrea Yates story is a bad thing though from her perspective, killing her kids was out of love. War through a love to a country ends in a lot of blood on both sides. Your definition would label Andreas murdering and war as technically good, as long as they were motivated by love. I'd say goodness are things that positively influence well being.
When Jesus said if your child asks for bread would you give him a serpent, the Jews in the crowd would definitely have been thinking about the story where the people were complaining about the manna and asking for bread and God sent serpents into the camp to kill them. If people realised the spiritual war going on all through the old testament, they'd realise why God absolutely wiped out sin. All through the books, the people are continuously punished for worshipping fallen angels, the watchers. God was actually protecting his people.
Good news: Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and has reconciled the world unto himself, and did not impute their sins unto them, but instead truly forgave them and gave them his life and grace for free so that they may be found living in him. The same Son of God that that was manifest in the flesh is the same God that lives in us, and through us all, but not in the physical body that the children of the flesh beheld, but rather as the Father and he is Holy Spirit and his Word sanctified us for life, and made the firstfruits his wife. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? (Hebrews 1:5) The Son of man was not a begotten Son in Heaven, Jesus is the 1 Lord from Heaven who was born into the world in a point in time during the creation as the Son of man to reconcile all things unto himself, by himself, and for himself. He designed the whole creation centered around the cross where he was manifested in his own creation to saved all that which was lost so Jesus is not an eternal or created demigod, but rather the 1 eternal Lord our God himself. For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. (Matthew 18:11) So to recap here, The Son of man was not 1/3 part of the Godhead in Heaven, the Son of man is The 1 Lord God himself manifest in flesh and made himself the Son of man when he himself seeded himself in St Mary and was born into this world through her womb and Jesus was the one who drew all to himself when he was lived up and Jesus himself is the one who revived himself along with all that was dead, and led captivity captive, gave gifts to men, and subdues all things unto himself because Jesus is the consuming fire of love that always was, is, and shall forever be since he is the Creator of every knee, and he is the 1 who proclaimed that all shall acclaim him as their own Lord God, even their own righteousness. The Spirit of Jesus prophesying of his coming and the plan in his hand to St David because Jesus is St David 1 True LORD. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. (Psalm 110:1) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 30:43. That's me. I no longer read the Bible due to the harm it has done to me and others. I just don't feel qualified to judge which bits are true. Having once believed that every single jot and tittle was not just true but the word of God. Baby out with bathwater I know. But the lesser of two evils I think.
Plato's Symposium says that love is not an end in itself, but seeks the beautiful. God is loving our souls into beauty ❤ I'm no longer Christian, I've been too battered by it. I disagree with you Brad, I do think the Bible is the problem. Whilst people think all the scriptures are not really written by people, but actually from God himself, you will always have a problem. It has become an idol of massive proportions with the consequent suffering it has been used to promote.

And if you want to take it a step further... we invite you to look into the things you haven't "forgiven God" for. Pray a prayer of forgiveness and see what happens in your heart. God doesn't NEED us to forgive Him, but WE need it. We need to release the judgements we've had against Him - simply for our inner peace. And to dismantle, of course, the lies we believe about Him.

When Jesus said if your child asks for bread would you give him a serpent, the Jews in the crowd would definitely have been thinking about the story where the people were complaining about the manna and asking for bread and God sent serpents into the camp to kill them. Since 1988 and I was 18 I’ve struggled with an image of two faced image of God. Good cop bad cop. If people realised the spiritual war going on all through the old testament, they'd realise why God absolutely wiped out sin. All through the books, the people are continuously punished for worshipping fallen angels, the watchers. God was actually protecting his people.

Good news: Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and has reconciled the world unto himself, and did not impute their sins unto them, but instead truly forgave them and gave them his life and grace for free so that they may be found living in him. The same Son of God that that was manifest in the flesh is the same God that lives in us, and through us all, but not in the physical body that the children of the flesh beheld, but rather as the Father and he is Holy Spirit and his Word sanctified us for life, and made the firstfruits his wife.
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? (Hebrews 1:5) The Son of man was not a begotten Son in Heaven, Jesus is the 1 Lord from Heaven who was born into the world in a point in time during the creation as the Son of man to reconcile all things unto himself, by himself, and for himself. He designed the whole creation centered around the cross where he was manifested in his own creation to saved all that which was lost so Jesus is not an eternal or created demigod, but rather the 1 eternal Lord our God himself. For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. (Matthew 18:11) So to recap here, The Son of man was not 1/3 part of the Godhead in Heaven, the Son of man is The 1 Lord God himself manifest in flesh and made himself the Son of man when he himself seeded himself in St Mary and was born into this world through her womb and Jesus was the one who drew all to himself when he was lived up and Jesus himself is the one who revived himself along with all that was dead, and led captivity captive, gave gifts to men, and subdues all things unto himself because Jesus is the consuming fire of love that always was, is, and shall forever be since he is the Creator of every knee, and he is the 1 who proclaimed that all shall acclaim him as their own Lord God, even their own righteousness.
The Spirit of Jesus prophesying of his coming and the plan in his hand to St David because Jesus is St David 1 True LORD. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. (Psalm 110:1) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I AM come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I AM come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. (John 12:44-47) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2) For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. (John 6:33)
While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

(Matthew 28:9)...Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM. (John 8:56-58)
The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Jesus is the Lord, Jesus is both the 1 Lord from Heaven who fills all things and our High Priest as well as the Lamb himself and the Lamb of God is the Lord of the Sabbath, the 1 Lord of lords/hosts/glory, the 1 King of kings, and yes, The 1 God of gods because our Maker has made us his bride and Jesus is the bridegroom. For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. (Isaiah 54:5) And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. (Zechariah 14:9)

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1 Timothy 2:6) Who gave himself? Jesus. Jesus is the 1 who sent and gave himself for the life of the world, and not anther. Jesus is Not 1/3 God who saves 1/3 of the World. Jesus is ALL that God is and he truly is the Savor of the world: The good news. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2:14) And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:10-11) Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began (Luke 1:68-70) And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 30:43. That's me. I no longer read the Bible due to the harm it has done to me and others. I just don't feel qualified to judge which bits are true. Having once believed that every single jot and tittle was not just true but the word of God. Baby out with bathwater I know. But the lesser of two evils I think.

Plato's Symposium says that love is not an end in itself, but seeks the beautiful. God is loving our souls into beauty ❤ I'm no longer Christian, I've been too battered by it. I disagree with you Brad, I do think the Bible is the problem. Whilst people think all the scriptures are not really written by people, but actually from God himself, you will always have a problem. It has become an idol of massive proportions with the consequent suffering it has been used to promote.
The One True Bible, AKJV, when Spiritally discerned is not the problem -- all its Authors are devout Universalists at Heart, for They All know That GOD, Elohiym, not Jehovah, WILL Have All Me To Be Saved, not wish, want or hope or desire, but WILL Brother, WILL HAVE!!!
This is really sad to see this perversion of the gospel. I completely understand where the author is coming from, and why he has come to the conclusions that he has. But the god that he describes is an idol. I choose to follow Jesus and his teachings in the Bible.
