Really enjoyed this podcast, glad YT showed it to me. I think the games industry, like the movie industry, is in for a reckoning due to the long lead times, high budgets, and greedy execs and shareholders. I liked your point about the execs being backward-looking instead of forward-looking. For a relatively young industry, that's rather like biting off your nose to spite your face. As someone who got into gaming as an adult through mobile gacha games, I appreciated that mention, and I also think that any company that wants to invest in hand-helds and cloud gaming can NOT ignore the mobile market. Would love to hear what you guys think about the mobile market. Anyway, enough of my rambling, nice work.
