A lot of simple but good points - Gear Raid I, II, III is such a non-inspiring or un-immersive naming convention. Tide has so much more potential then a Account Power check. All in all though...great game, great to see you two collaborate. MaBucket is such a key contributor to the community and HellHades is a proven community builder...this needs to happen MORE!
I’d like to see a boss battle where there were multiple hit box areas each with different weaknesses and tactics to deploy heroes for separate tasks. I.e. a ground hero or ranged attacker does enough damage on one boss part to drop the boss to its knees so other champs have access to damage areas temporarily. Individual team effort with timing on ultimates at play
I'd like to see a side campaign were you make up a team of 6 lvl 10 commons and 4 lvl 20 uncommons and progress through for decent but lesser rewards, as a fun light path to follow, perhaps with weekly resets like the void portal. And perhaps a 10 space storage for just those heroes, so you don't accidently use them for food. It just seems such a shame to create and design these low power heroes and not find a use for them. I know there are exceptions like Cutter.
Personally I love the simplicity of the gear. Adding everything you guys were talking about tends to over complicate a game and makes it no longer fun for those of us that have no interest in investing a ton of $$$ and then also having to learn a ton more in order to make the correct choices so you can continue to progress in the game. There are plenty of other challenges in WoR without complicating things. Far too many games cater to those few that do this kind of thing for a living and it simply ruins it for the rest of us who are mostly casual gamers.
Biggest problem of this game in my opinion is this unique and shit damage formula where damage isn't simply a product of every damage multiplier divided by a defense percentage. This makes having certain heroes absolutely mandatory for the latest stages and that's a real issue when said heroes are gated behind a lotery sytem
EXACTLY! The discord community is not the same as most likely the majority of the casual/non-hardcore players. And then you have the lot that wants to conquer late game content with purple gear and Rex😂
nice but I can add some stuff: this game took an entirely summon system from raid:sl, about dungeons and campaigns further into the game, it is FORCED on the player to have a specific hero otherwise it is basically impossible to progress on, for example, gr 3, gr 2, void rift final bosses that require NAMED tank and NAMED archers yet this game is still much better compared to raidsl incase devs are going to go full-greed mode as there are plenty of krakens who had moved to wor.
I have really enjoyed this game 80days in now and playing hrs and hrs a day. BUT as FTP i am very much becoming jaded and frustrated. I am only able to manage 20 to 30 summons a week which is pitiful (excuse the pun) when the pity is 200. I am falling behind others in my guild who are summoning 200 a week and probs not even considered whales, its a big difference in levels. Cleared all GR 18s and now it is just grinding grinding grinding for good gear which is just woeful. This is also made harder when you are contemplating spending your diamonds for summons even though you only have 1000 diamonds which i think is alot but others think is nothing. You can say that it is great to play FTP but at a point (solid midgame) it just becomes disheartening. Sux because i really really love this game. Representing the guild Overlook Gaming!!!
I wish you could see how many melee units you can put out on the map info screen. You can see the number of tiles you have and where they are but not for melee placement.
Also i do feel like you progress extreamly fast. 9 days in i 1 keyed nightmare guild boss. I am also compleated about 3/4 of campaign between all dificulties. This is somewhat worring, hopefully they continue to add more harder content soon.
I love this game EXCEPT for the amount of gold we get for selling gear! I am semi-okay with having to waste a full day running the EXP raid. But I Absolutely Despise having to run the Gold Raid Also! 30% more is not good enough! It needs to be doubled. Otherwise, the game is amazing.

I would rather have the tide game mode then a tower game mode. Everyone does a tower mode. My biggest problem is the lack of info about stats and how they work. They give you numbers, but they don't break down what those numbers do for your character. Like, does 100 ATK give me 20 DPS? That type of thing. Would make it easier to figure out what gear is the best for what character.

Both HellHades and Ash have done a lot for the community and genre over the years, these discussions are fun for me personally and I know other people enjoy them too. If it's not your thing that's okay, but the videos are clearly labelled so I'd advise against watching them if you know you won't enjoy it. Take care!
