All flights are special, but first flights are extra special. Something about the unknown experience of it, the culmination of training, the reward from putting in the work plus the shear excitement of it all coming together. Really hard to capture in words. I get nostalgic watching others first flights as well as my own, takes me back. Midwest is one of the best in the country if not the world at teaching this sport safely and responsibly. It's been nearly 5 years since I was out there doing my firsts, It's good to see Dave, Matt, Brad still out there. Congrats to all the new pilots killin it!
Me and my fly buddies are 10% this after a long XC and it's still freaking great I love PPG!! There's nothing like that first flight though, that's why I said 10%.
I've got a couple thousand take off videos...1st launches are fairly entertaining but I'm not sure how many would like to see them. If there is enough interest in a video like that???
