Yep Lawrence is quite static, doesn't have much pace, poor first touch. He can hit a shot with decent power from distance. Definetly not a physical type. A 10 is usually a flair player, who can play a pass that can split a defence and feed the striker or wingers in behind as well as operate as a goal threat. They are not usually physical, I don't understand what Chris Jack is on about here with regards to Hagis physical qualities.

I also think our defensive options would be better in a 3 than a back 4. My team would be Butland, Souttar, Propper, Balogun/Nsiala. As the 3 CBs, though Ideally I would replace Souttar. Cerny RW, Ridvan LW, Sterling as CDM protecting the back three and recycling the ball, Diomande and Barron as our attacking CMs. A front 2 of Danilo and Dessers. It would make it very difficult for Celtic to dominate the midfield. With only 3 players in there and we could starve service to their wing men.
I’m with you for 3 at the back, but if we keep Tav because of his goals, we need to play with wingbacks, Tav and Ridvan/Jefte. The problem with that is if you have real wingbacks you don’t need wingers, and Phil likes wingers ergo Tav must go. If it were 3 at the back we should look at Liam Cooper who is without a club. We should probably look at Cooper regardless.

He is not at that level and about 30 percent of the talent his dad had. He has some talent but at best mid to bottom tier teams in the likes of Italy or Turkey if he fulfills his potential and his attitude improves. His name will open doors for him abd we will sell him if he plays. If stuck in the B team we devalue him, pay a wage and get nothing back, thats not good or smart for either party. Hagi has not been very smart in how he has dealt with speculation, whether that's due to advisers or not is anyones guess. If he has had bad advice, he should fire his advisers. I believe he has. The image created from his camp makes him look like a problem player. Many teams will be looking and thinking what if he doesnt settle and pulls that routine at their club. I think getting rid of Hagi and Cantwell makes a lot of sense. The manager has performed his assessment and thinks for the money we are paying Hagi and his current ability, he has deemed his wage could be better put to use. For Cantwell, he wants to leave and so we are going to move him on which is fairdos. Personally, I would like to see him move on. I don't feel he is effective, often enough. I think by the end of the transfer window, both will be gone, and until then, B teams games are where they should be. We need to be ruthless with the decisions and stick to them even when the going gets tough. Short termism is where rangers have failed for the last 20 years 😂.
