Candy is true on target, she has placed herself right in the masters...no mistacking! I had not heard her sing much before, but she proves that too... no question! She is TRUE class jazz...would loved to see her on stage with others, could only imagine where that would go....Candy and Benson might show interesting. Thank you Candy for making a smooth jazz version of my fave Whitney song (remake of Isley Brothers'). Interestingly back then, a local smooth jazz station used to play Whitney's For The Love Of You (with Kenny G!) and Just The Lonely Talking Again very regularly --- so Candy's awesome version is very much in line with the overall awesomeness of this song.
I bought this DVD. It has bonus footage which you are looking at right now. I can actually jam my drums to the DVD. I'm about to wear it out. Candy is not only spectacular but the musicians backing her up are all Stellar as well. Europeans do not get near enough credit for their musical talent.
just saw her at the foundry in Las Vegas this last saturday June 17th. great show. purchased the meet and greet tickets and she gave a photo opp with us. real nice Lady. after the show she gave another photo opp and autographs. bought her new CD and while i was at the bar waiting my turn in walks Ulco Bed what a gret guy. had a nice talk with him . she needs to bring back her Horn Section. i had a great time there. hope she comes back to Vegas.
Ya think? ; ) She looks as though she'd be equally at home on the stage with a horn or in the boardroom of a corporate highrise. Bet she could anchor the news on television, too ; )

I was left in awe! That was some of the most sweet, romantic sax playing I've ever heard. My third major inspiration next to Charlie Parker.
