This is a nice, concise build that seems to be a decent all around DPS. It's not a cheesy, clickbait build that will work until they patch it. This is a good strong build that will likely work through every update and patch that the devs put the game through. I'm really tired of seeing so many builds that exist purely because they are clickbait glitch builds. "Look at how we can melt bosses in 3 seconds!" Yeah... that's called a glitch and will be patched in a week. Fun if you have the gear and traits for it for a week, but useless if you need to grind for 5 days just to get pieces of the build. You may not be popular, but I enjoy your builds and your videos have a good sense of humor to them. Thanks for another good, reliable build.
Thank you so much, really means a lot to hear this, made my day! I’ve got another build coming next week that’s all based around explosives and is a super fun one to use, so I hope you check that one out as well. It’s definitely one of my best ones yet! Thanks again for the kind words and support!
Currently there’s a glitch that causes the engineer turret to only fire when the warden drone is not firing, so using the engineers prime perk isn’t as affective since it wouldn’t get full use of the overcharge. Once they patch that, then switching them around could definitely work better for boss fights, but when roaming around the world, you’ll want the drone as the prime archetype. The main downside to switching is that you’ll lose the extra 50% drone charge, meaning it will need recharging a lot more often. It also takes away the extra 50% ammo from the turret, which isn’t as big of an issue since you’d have the overdrive, but it does mean that you’d potentially have more gaps when both skills run out of ammo. I did some testing to see how much damage the drone and the turret did on their own with the drone in the prime slot, and they’re effectively the same. A full drone charge did just over 25,000 damage whilst a full turret charge did just over 27,000 damage (this was without any debuffs, just flat damage). I also tested the damage with them the other way round for you. The drone on a full charge did just over 15,000 while the turret with overdrive and a full charge did just over 44,000 damage, so roughly 10,000 more damage, which can obviously help out, but with the extra benefits that warden gives you, I’d say that it’s better to stick with it as your prime archetype. You’d also lose the extra shield charge from Warden which can help with survivability. The main reason Warden is the prime archetype is because it’s prime perk affects both skills, whereas the engineer prime perk only affects engineer. Hope this helps. 👍🏼
I didn’t include them, mostly because they’re not interchangeable, once selected on the prism they can’t be changed and the selection you’re given is random, however, my prism has; Evade Distance Skill Damage Mod Duration Explosive Damage Shield Duration Received Hope this helps!
Warden/Engineer is insane, I just finished my first Hardcore Veteran run with it and Annihilation fell so quickly to the turret while the shield drone compensated for any damage I took.
@@streetdj Sure thing, you start as Engineer for Technician set and Pulse Rifle as well as Vulcan Cannon skill Warden/Engineer with Shield Drone and Vulcan Cannon. Level doesn't really matter except for the damage scaling. Get Void Heart, Leto's Amulet, Dull Steel Ring and Black Cat Band from Reggie (I got Amulet asap) I added the Dran Scavenger Ring once I got it by finishing hardcore Losomn but that's your choice if you want to do so. Use Technician Armor until you get Leto MK2 set (Amulet and Dull Steel will let you green roll) The drone will keep you alive with shields, never stow it away because the shield will disappear otherwise and the Vulcan Turret will sit there and do most of your damage. The only time I was worried was Labyrinth Sentinel and that's mainly due to the instakills. I hope this helps you out!
great vid, and great build, its very close to my build, though i changed it up a little to be tankier, (managed to solo a 3 person annihilation) useing Marble and Clay ring instead of amulet and sciolist, slightly less damage, but i can hold and use the impact cannon and basically ignore bosses attack that dont one hit, (using much more armor i usually go just under superheavy hap), its so much fun as you regularly hit for 5k + on weakspots and melt bosses while the drone cleans up any adds you run into. edit: also great job on the editing and format of the vid, only thing missing id say is overview at the end, just a few seconds of the inventory screen of the build, something people can pause the video on to set up themselves, otherwise perfect build vid
Thank you for the comment. The inventory screen is at 5:18, I made the mistake of not adding it into my first build a year ago and had a lot of people asking for it, so I’ve made sure to add it in to every build since.
but currently there is a little bug if you use thw dps drone and mini gun turrent at the same time. when both are targeting the same target, the turrent will stop shooting when drone is shooting. The turrent will only shoot when drone is resting from the burst.
That’s true yeah, although the damage is still very consistent even with the bug. It also helps with the up time slightly as the turret gains a brief period to recharge whilst the drone does damage, meaning both skills stay up for longer and this increase your total damage. Once they fix it however, bosses will definitely be melted a lot faster.
It's completely interchangeable with whatever your preference is. I just prefer the tranquil hearts passive regen, especially since it increases regrowths regen when activating the relic, but it is interchangeable
@@Delicaster54 perfect, oh, you should do an updated version if you get the legendary prism perk of boundless energy as your drone and turret wont need the passive regen
With this build, the Engineers Prime Perk only adds an extra 10,000 damage at base, without the weapon debuffs, so it can increase the damage, but your drone would be less active as it would run out of charge more frequently. You’d also lose some of the shield benefits which help to keep you alive and take more hits. It’s up to you whether you want that 20% damage increase, or the better survivability and drone consistency.
Does anyone know wtf the difference are between the prisms? there are 7 different ones but no one can say wtf they actually do I mean there is one that you get form killing 500 bosses in boss rush but no explanation on why you would want to get it???
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of difference between them, but the reason there are multiple is because, once you select an upgrade on them, that upgrade is on it indefinitely. Theres no way to reset it, so there’s multiple to account for people wanting to gain different benefits for different builds, although it’s still RnG for the upgrades you’re given when levelling it. Hope that helps 👍🏼
Warden/Handler is an interesting build. It could definitely work, but I don't see it as being a high damage or high survivability build. It's definitely something I can look into however, but the likely outcome is that the build might only be viable in the lower two difficulties. It depends on whether you'd be going for a survivor build or a damage build. I do think that handler is very underused and has some great benefits, so I'll look into a build or two that utilise it.
So lol i love how easy it is to create insane builds once you have all the items and understand how the game works. Im going to try this build tonight for funsies. Short to the point and doesnt have useless monologuing that doesnt work. Good video honestly. Im subbing and gonna have to try this build.
