mememan 07 except they're not, at most they're a special strike unit of (commando) soldiers. Not advance because they don't go ahead of the main bulk of the army, they just go wherever. Not recon because they don't hide and sneak about the enemy army's encampments for the sole purpose of gathering intel and try to avoid combat as much as possible. Quite the opposite, the lightsaber dude says in one of the panels shown in this video "who's ready to kill some rebels," which isn't exactly conflict-avoidant behaviour. So that means the A and R are gone, leaving you with a much more boring SCS - Special Commando Soldiers.
Zap Gun idk I think scar were the better part of it I woulda liked thoe if Darth Vader didn’t kill his troopers and let the ones who thought Vader was a Jedi after Order 66 and the one who was like ima Jedi in the opening pages if he kept them and called them Vader fist and then had the 501th legion and then had scars bc then he would of had a badass personal army of his old trooper as Anakin then his new Vader fist as Vader and even a special opps group as scar or the trooper 99
even when creel dies, he'll be remembered as the stormtrooper that (despite lacking force abilities) managed to put up multiple separate fights with luke skywalker.
This shows that anyone can be trained to wield a lightsaber effective enough againsts force sensitives. It's just a lot harder cause you don't have to force to hold you up.
Mecha-san the force sensitives is basically like you have natural gift with lightsaber the non force sensitives wielding a lightsaber is like you have to learn how to use a lightsaber but only more harder and not as skilled as a Jedi or sith would be
val eh not really seeing as Force Sensitives still need training in lightsaber combat just not as much. Shit in all honesty it shouldve took this guy years to master a lightsaber
Huh. It's almost like looking at a new version of Grievous. Both Grievous and Kreel were incredibly skilled alien warriors who eventually came to the attention of a powerful Sith Lord, both were trained in lightsaber combat despite not being Force sensitive, and both became regular enemies of the Jedi.
Imagine a Sith Lord who discovers how to filter the midichlorians out of someone's body either through some kind of blood filtration, or surgically splitting their cells and removing them. Then he injects them into his bloodstream. His force connection could be unthinkable. Has this ever been done in legends or something?
Unlimited Hatred Thats pretty badass. Start off with normal jedi until you are powerfull enough to go after the top teir guys. Becoming massively more powerful with each victory.
Well, one did do that, though unwittingly. The exile. It ended up causing him/her to form force connections powerful enough to kill him/her if the other linked person were to die.
Awesome!! :) I love this story with Kreel: he being an infamous non-human fighter in a gladiator pit with a dangerous reputation, he witnessing Stormtroopers, becoming fascinated by them, going to the Stormtrooper Academy to join their ranks; him being personally selected and trained by Darth Vader to join the 501st; him being sent undercover as one of a lightsaber-obsessed Hutt's slaves, he taking his first lightsaber from the vault; he encountering Luke in the pits and fighting him, Luke escaping; Kreel and Luke meeting and duelling again, Luke escaping. X) From this video, Kreel's story sounds very interesting, like you said, and I'd like to see it completed. X)
it would be cool if Princess Lea Organa was cloned by Imperials and was given storm-trooper training to be used as a weapon for Darth Vader but she ends finding Kreal, the storm-trooper that was an alien and was trained by Vader, and Lea and Kreal have a son together. Kreal would train his son in light-saber training like Vader showed him but unlike Kreal his son would have a strong force connection because he was biologically the grandson of Darth Vader. Darth Vader would find Kreal's son amusing and try to use him as a weapon of the dark-side. Dath Vader would also rename Kreal's son Viper and send him on assassin missions after polishing his training and teaching him about the dark-side. Viper would be sent to assassinate the main rebellion leader to end the rebellion leadership. There he would fight Luke Skywalker and Luke would send him flying with a force-push and after hitting a wall, Viper would be knocked unconscious. While Viper was unconscious, Luke took a DNA sample because Viper resembled Princess Lea Organa and he would find out that Viper was biologically the son of Lea. Luke senced that Viper had a strong connection to the force and convince him to become a Jedi like himself and fight evil instead of working for evil.
I would love for you to explain how are the Jedi shrine, starstone and her master shatak. this is one topic I know no other TH-cam channel has touched on.
Kreel's becoming one of my favorite Star Wars characters. Just something about this badass Stormtrooper who can duel Jedi makes for a cool adversary. Vader can't canonically die until ROTJ, Inquisitors are an institution all on their own, but this guy? Just a soldier who happens to be very skilled at an outdated practice that also just so happens to be really effective against the Empire's greatest threat.
Idk why but it's always great to see a none force user giving a Jedi or Sith a run for their money. Just shows the force is strong but sometimes not strong enough. Also I definitely wanna see more of Kreel and the 501st because they seem to be the only competent stormtroopers.
It would be cool to see Kreel and Vader develop a Student/ master relationship where Vader shows his good side. I hope Kreel survives long since he seems like a very intresting character.
Yoo tell us more about SCARs squad that seems interesting I love the connections with delta squad (especially creols chest armor resembling the katarn armor used by them)
Lightsabers still have practical usage since they're just plasma swords, even Han used it to slice open his dead tauntaun's stomach to temporarily keep Luke warm. Seriously, it's only a melee weapon. The reason why Jedi and Sith mostly use lightsabers because they practice swordplay and utilize the 7 disciplines of lightsaber combat along with the force; It falls under the bushido code. However without the disciplines and without the force, a lightsaber is still a melee weapon that anyone can use as long as the wielder at least has basic combat training under his/her belt. Finn was able to use a lightsaber and he's not even a Jedi, he relied on his combat training from his days serving the First Order.
this part of empire i like to see i wanna learn more the storm troopers like the clones before the storm troopers seemed lamed vs the clones but now you get a better insight
The lightsabre is a powerful melee weapon. Non force sensitive fighters might not be able to use it to its full potential, but it can cut through pretty much anything. Not a bad choice for a secondary close range weapon, imho.
THIS SHOULD BE A PLOT POINT FOR A 501st THEMED GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine the Jedi Knight games remade, but instead of playing as a Force Sensitive Kyle Katarn, you are playing as a Stormtrooper with a Lightsaber!!!!!!!! Like this could be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm surprised Vader didn't let the trooper craft his own lightsaber (yet?) since he knows his stuff; the jedi might be lured into a false sense of security around him if it's possible.
Originally the Stormtroopers were supposed to have Troopers that used Lightsabers but that was cut. In fact, if you dig up Concept Art. See Troopers holding Lightsabers. And people forget. The Lightsaber is a tool ( a weapon to the uneducated call it). Anyone can use a Lightsaber. Yet a Jedi (or Sith) can wield it to its fullest effect.
+The Stupendous Wave What if Han Solo never met Chewbacca? What if the Empire never discovered Echo Base on Hoth? What if Mace Windu killed Dooku on Geonosis? What if Obi-Wan was never captured on Geonosis?
How skilled was Luke as a Jedi just before he went to train with Yoda in ESB? Like, I guess, how much had he learned/how refined was he by the start of ESB?
SCARS really deserve a one or two issue comic run, they really are an amazing team
Isn't it Special Commando Advanced Recon Troopers which is SCART? They are pretty cool, though.
MT Haygood *stormtroopers
Abel Trevizo Ah, Ok. That makes more sense
Kris S I was thinking the same thing lol
They got an entire issue of Star Wars comics to themselves,
They need some more and a few LEGO sets
SCARS is like, the coolest acronym possible
Special Commando Advanced Recon Soldiers is just a terrible string of meaningless words though.
mememan 07 except they're not, at most they're a special strike unit of (commando) soldiers. Not advance because they don't go ahead of the main bulk of the army, they just go wherever. What about SARS?
Better than S.T.A.R.S
even when creel dies, he'll be remembered as the stormtrooper that (despite lacking force abilities) managed to put up multiple separate fights with luke skywalker.
This shows that anyone can be trained to wield a lightsaber effective enough againsts force sensitives. It's just a lot harder cause you don't have to force to hold you up.
Thing is though, Kreel still had to be trained to use a lightsaber. It's not like anyone can just pick up a lightsaber and hold their own in a fight.
Mecha-san well not all force sensitives as Kreel definitely wouldn't last against someone formerly trained in light saber combat.
Dragon Hustler to be fair he did have one of the greatest lightsaber duelists teaching him
The parallel is actually kinda nice
Wait this is cannon? That's surprising for some reason
Ocazzar yes its canon
Why, you never thought Disney would have the creativity to do this?
@@Calmoose415 Kathleen Kennedy isnt sticking her feminism into the comics
@@shanenonwolfe4109 Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
@@Calmoose415 good thing
Wow! A Stormtrooper wielding a lightsaber! That's totally *never* been done before!
(Expanded Universe fades in)
Don't forget about The Forced Nostalgia err I mean The Force Awakens!
Literally no one said it hadn't been done before
RPD hilarious and original
Gerard Deane It's not meant to be taken seriously! Guess I should've mentioned that earlier...
And yes, it is cool!
The difference here is that Krill is C A N O N : ^)
This story actually helps explain Luke's greater Lightsaber skills after being trained by Yoda for such a short time.
ITS OVER STUPENDOUS WAVE
I have the high ground!!!!
Obi-wan Kenobi you underestimate his power!
Willhelm Kirkpatricka
Don't try it
Obi-wan Kenobi I
It's treason then
You underestimate his TH-cam money!!!! 💰💰💰💰💰💰
Geert Matthys another happy thought

Unlimited Hatred Thats pretty badass. Start off with normal jedi until you are powerfull enough to go after the top teir guys. Becoming massively more powerful with each victory.
ClockworkAlex Like a Sith Vampire
Darth Nihilus from the Old Republic games devoured the force out of force sensitive entities so I suppose he coubtd
Well, one did do that, though unwittingly. The exile. It ended up causing him/her to form force connections powerful enough to kill him/her if the other linked person were to die.
Ain’t no one gonna mention how cool misty looks
Awesome!! :)

I would love there to be a a comic series of Kreel and SCAR squad. They give a different perspective of the Empire, which I always find fascinating.
What if that squad becomes the future knights of ren?
It doesn't seem all that unlikely to be honest
Morgan Keyes They would just be grandpa storm troopers...
Did anyone else notice that SCARS and The bad batch both shared the name task force 99?
SCAR Squadron is so cool
LethalShadow I strongly agree
Krill and his team would make a really good show.
What if a Wampa became a Sith or Jedi?
starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ku-Kak
This close enough?
I really like this one. Need more of that story line.
Did Stormtroopers & Imperials know they were the bad guys?
TK- 713 Did Emperor Palpatine tell you to say that? 😑
Jaylen Davis there was no good guys or bad guys
Go back to your delusions, Chris.
Read Inferno Squad novel for an answer ;)
Jaylen Davis when they were fighting the rebels they thought rebels were tererists and should be stopes
It's great to have a Storm Trooper squad to follow again.
Wait, this is Canon? What? When did this take place?
Between ANH and TESB
Thanks
R3fug33 its canon and was in the starwars comics as of 2016
Kreel's story could make an incredible video game!
I thought all stormtroopers were easily wasted, but seeing one with goofd lightsaber skills? Man, this guy's got edges!
I wonder if the new stormtroopers in TLJ will have training based of this storm trooper

You just wrote a whole fanfic in a youtube comment. Well done sir.
Thank you, I was just using my imagination.
Hi Stupendous Wave. Are you gonna do a video about Inferno Squad novel?
Impressive, most impressive.
I would love for you to explain how are the Jedi shrine, starstone and her master shatak. this is one topic I know no other TH-cam channel has touched on.
"I have the high ground!" Yup we get it
He sounds like a cool guy
That's so cool!
After initially watching Old Ben vs Vader, I was under the impression that the user need force energy to make the blade extend from the base.
Kreel's becoming one of my favorite Star Wars characters. Just something about this badass Stormtrooper who can duel Jedi makes for a cool adversary. Elite stormtrooper trained in the way of the sand.
Most awesome vid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s a lot of damage!
This Storm Trooper would go on to form a NEW squadron after SCARS, the 789th, Vader's Elbow.
Him, Han, and Finn (as far as we know) are so far the only non-force users to use a lightsabre. Very interesting !
*cough* General Greivous *cough*
General Greivous
He is one of my favorite characters!
More Stormtrooper stories!
i wish we could see more about S.C.A.R. :a trooper team that has aliens and actually capable fighters
You answered my question at the end the only canon stormtroopers with a lightsaber lol.....

i want a movie of him now!
Wait a minute if this is canon then that def means that the bad batch and scars are the same but kreel joined later maybe
Your theory may be valid as Im pretty sure that scars was a thing before kreel joined
This story is badass.
I have never heard the words skilled marksman and storm trooper in the Same sentence
Keep up the good videos
Lul, Luke got bested, ran away from, and was matched by a (albeit badass) *non-Force Sensitive* Stormtrooper in Lightsaber Combat. Lmfao, rekt.
The 8 dislikes are 8 Stormtroopers who missed the link button
The rest are people who hate Canon.
That's really badass
I would love if they made a game on these stormtroopers. Imagine playing as Kreole
You'd get eaten almost immediately , Kreole can't fight.
Dude, plz go in depth on Luke's training and duels with him, we don't have to much knowledge on how Luke got his dueling skills

The lightsabre is a powerful melee weapon. Non force sensitive fighters might not be able to use it to its full potential, but it can cut through pretty much anything. Not a bad choice for a secondary close range weapon, imho.
Are the SCARS considered "special forces" like Inferno squad from the new battlefront coming up?
Great story!
Imma say this rn, we gonna see kreel in the bad batch for sure

Kreel is canon too

What about a novel about scar squad similar to inferno squad
