I watched this game live in Iran. I was 10 years old and 55 now. I have remained an Ipswitch fan ever since. A phenomenal team in the 80s but then they never took it to the next level. Congrats to them making to Championship league and hope for better success in the years to come.
Not everyone had colour TVs back then so on a black and white TV Arsenal would be light shirts and dark shorts with Ipswich in dark shirts with light shorts. Ipswich got home colours even though both teams were playing an away game.

Ive read of many Ipswich fans at the game were worried for all their dominance that Arsenal would pinch it., knowing it has happened many times.
