Thrifting is how I get through life XD you find the most unique things when you buy secondhand. Just gotta make sure to clean and disinfect everything before bringing it inside.

Of course your apartment is gorgeous like out of a fairytale, but dang your understanding of color is just amazing. It feels like a painting with a lot of harmony and this sort of warm nostalgic feel. Yes! I am the thriftiest person XD I love going to secondhand stores and value marts. The ones that military families use are especially nice because the things are usually newer and you always find amazing items

Oh my god this is so cute you live like an actual princess and I love every bit of your apartment!! Makes me want to go thrifting or start prowling eBay/local marketplaces for neat little things. I’ve been slowly collecting cute, kitschy knickknacks I randomly find in stores, garage sales, or giveaway boxes/piles over the years (like hardshell vintage suitcases, ice cream measuring cups/bowls, old books, a terrarium music box) but this just makes me want to fully immerse myself back into it. I also really felt you when you said you were sentimental and will probably keep something forever if someone gives it to you.

Yes! Self-care is soooo so so important. When watching some of my old videos I could see how drained and sad I looked. I didn’t want to continue making content for contents sake and I took some time to myself. I feel soooo so so much better now and moving was definitely a big help. I can’t wait to have you and the other friends over for tea and my Kawaii bbq soon!

Amazing Apartment! Its so funny because I have a carousel horse too. Its bigger than yours, plays music and came from a flea market lol. You just never know what you will find. I love the photos of you!!! I have like 2 or 3 of those jewelry boxes lol. I also have a penpal that I need to send a message to soon. Can't wait to see more!
Flea markets and thrift stores are the best. I made a space for a full sized carousel horse if I can find one that matches the aesthetic

I started making my own wax beads a couple years ago but I totally agree. Writing letters by hand are so therapeutic when I use my quill/stamps. My next project will be to make some vintage paper using the tea dye method ^^
That sounds so cool! I have some vintage looking paper for longer letters. I think the longest letter I’ve written so far has been 10 pages 😅

Thrifting the perfect items was the longest (and most enjoyable) part. I had a vision for what I wanted the area to look like and visited soooo many places with progress pictures to match things up. I got super lucky with my sofas. I’m hoping to find one more fancy chair for my desk.

Olympia actually never gets on my desk. She doesn’t jump onto things or scratch up my carpets or furniture, I’m fortunate to have a chill kitty XD she has lots of her own furniture now which she sticks to. The only place she isn’t allowed into are my dress closets because she sheds like crazy *_*

Do I like writing letters: I have 2 international penpals but we do everything digitally and it's been such a long time since I've written any long text by hand that I tend to get nervous and uncomfortable and tend to make too many mistakes. Emails are free and it's easy to attach files and put links in the text.
But it doesn't have the same charm as a handwritten letter or card. I still have a lot of letters and cards from the early 2000's when my friend lived a year in Japan. I can't throw them away.
I save all my letters in a little box. I love handwritten letters, they always brighten my day. And I feel like it adds another level of intimacy to a friendship when you exchange letters and little gifts. But yes free and fast is always nice XD
