Cranberry Sauce
Juice of 2 oranges in water to one cup
1/4 cup maple syrup*
Cinnamon
Bring above to a boil. Add 12oz fresh cranberry and return to a bail. Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour sauce into a pyrex container and add 2Tbs chia seeds. Allow to gel for 15 minutes before serving.

As far as unique Canadian dishes, they vary by region. There's poutine, which is a French-Canadian dish consisting of French fries, fresh cheese curds and gravy. Another one is tourtierre which is a meat pie. Newfoundland has it's own unique dishes such as figgy duff and "boiled dinner". There are many unique regional dishes in Canada, depending on what part of the country you're in. It's as diverse as it is in America! As far as Thanksgiving fare, turkey figures prominently just like it does in the States! 😊

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 cup raisins
Pinch of salt
Combine all dry ingredients then add milk and egg.
Place in bag and cook for 1 1/2 hours with jiggs dinner or
Steam in a steamer pot for 1 1/2 hours
Eating poutine at the cinema is just a blessing!

We actually have a Thanksgiving in July on our back porch- we like to be grateful twice a year! We had so much fun today with our son’s family at a fall festival, and arriving home I had a wonderful surprise - my cacay oil has arrived. Thank you so much, I can’t wait to give it a go. 🍁🍂🍁

Living in the Northeastern part of the country, I can honestly say nothing compares to the beauty of fall, and everything that comes with it. I do wish winter was shorter though. Lol I love the beauty of the snow but can’t stand the frigid temps.

This Thanksgiving dinner looks delicious. I'm not vegan and I typically don't enjoy tofu, but the loaf looks great! The rice stuffing, carrots, and cranberry sauce is definitely something I would try. Great menu!
Yeah, it is doesnt "taste" like tofu (which tastes like nothing, lol). It comes together really well and soaks up the Thanksgiving flavors

We in Australia adopt so many customs from the US, some of which I wish we did not. One thing which I'd like to see us embrace is Thanksgiving. It alone seems to be the only celebration which isn't tied to spending bazillions of dollars on gifts or lining the pockets of confectionary companies or Hallmark.

How do coconut aminos compare to regular soy sauce? That loaf and stuffing look scrumptious! Oh, we can’t stop making the chia crackers; we are now adding hemp seed to the mix!
i can't say...i have not had regular soy sauce in many years
It's not any different, IMO, except maybe less salty! I love aminos and, also, have not had original soy sauce in many years. :)

I use benzol peroxide at night along with tretinoin. then I used sacylic acid in the morning. Do you think it might be too much? I'm wondering if I should switch to a cleanser.

Plant based Thanksgiving, the gifts of the earth! Even before going vegan, I usually preferred the side dishes to the turkey, things like corn on the cob, yams with marshmallow topping, succotash (butter beans,corn,tomato,onion), stuffing, mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, cranberry relish or salad. I preferred the meat in sandwiches the day after, so now I just skip the sandwiches :) Great Thanksgiving Cooking Show, with photogenic stars Andrea and Mom! And a tasty reminder to plan for the upcoming event!
