I hope the lyrics to Butterfly don't hurt you too badly. Dami's dog really was her Mom's dog. The pooch was almost as old as Dami, they grew up together so apparently he was more like a brother to her. My family have had many animals in my lifetime but I did not have any single animal that I grew up with from my infancy. I can only imagine that this was more like a brother to Dami than just another animal (who would also be part of the family, but it's really not the same thing). From my pov, that makes it hurt even more. I am SO glad she did this for him. I am sure this song will help others heal from similar losses. She is such a sweetheart and humanitarian!

I keep telling everyone that Rapper Dami is only one part of her. She has a very complex personality and she's much more fragile than she appears to be on stage. You can see it in Rockabye. She's very small which you can only see when she's standing beside a Westerner. Small head, long graceful neck, very delicate bone structure (her hands are amazing) and she's very sensitive to cold so she has to take care of her health very carefully. She's a bookworm and like all bookworms she is full of imagination and her inner life is very rich and complex. That's Dami. She sees and hears everything, but says very little except when she performs on stage then it all comes out. All the members of Dreamcatcher have said that Dami is the one that took longest to get to know in the early years. Still waters run deep.
