Dr. Ahmad Agus studied for his PhD at Curtain University in Perth under an Australia Awards Scholarship (then Australian development Scholarship) where he devised a system for providing power to communities scattered across Indonesia’s 17,000 islands which caught the eye of Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works.
