Yeah I know this game was brilliant, the marine felt a bit slow and clunky and the multiplayer was ruined because of of easy and big the insta kill button was on peoples backs but with those exceptions aside it was pretty much great... unfortunately these games don't sell enough for companys to justify making a new one :(
Yeah I agree but with the new movie The Predator and in the past not too long ago we had Alien: Covenant I'd say there's no better time to resurrect a beautiful game like AvP. I would love to see a larger scale PvP because the PvP was already chaotic so seeing more would just make it that much more exciting to be honest. Plus, those insta kills made it that much more terrifying as a marine where if you saw something move you shot it tf up.
Looking back at the way the levels are build, I get the feeling that id Software has taken some notes on world-building for DOOM 2016 from this game. Not saying it's a bad thing, just enjoying the similarities!

Lol i'm a pacifist - but in this case even i would say that Alien extermination is the proper way to go. With Xenomorphs there is no way to coexist in any manner. So yeah in that case it's us or them.

Agreed, or I'd at least like a remaster of this and the 2001 AVP game on current consoles
