I'm the same age as Drake and it's fascinating listening to the his lyrics knowing that that is how I felt or approached relationships at the time (2010). It's crazy how raw, open and optimistic I was. If anything, age and experience has made me more cynical and it takes me a long time to build up any kind of trust. I do miss the feeling of being that open and this song gives me a special reminder of that
