The problem with the game is that it just a bandit beater. Literally the whole storyline is 4 quests that pretty repetitive. Kill enemies, Escort NPC, Gather resources and forgot the other one. This game took TWO YEARS of development time.. I don't know what they've been doing all this time and they couldnt put more variety? Also like almost every location is just dead and has empty space. Like they didnt put any decorations in the houses u can enter. There floating barrels of fish, Wonky terrain that doesn't even make sense.. I know it kinda nitpicking but even the world map doesnt match with some of the real generation.. Also the gamepasses some of them are so useless! Why would you spend robux for a map pinpointer when you can just google it?? Also The battlepass is so useless and worthless 1500 Robux?? for items that you can get for FREE by doing those quests and killing enemies?? I feel like this game wasnt made with love only to make profit of it. Some of the structures that are put dont even make sense why they are there, nitpicking but in the fishing village why there a big ass gap between the wheat fields?? just empty space? they couldnt put more wheat fields! And another thing about that fishing village in the middle there a market right? Well if you go there you will see nothing! There no single NPC behind those market stalls!? Why? Couldnt spend like 20-30 minutes making some NPCs and putting them there? Literally every town/village beside the main city is empty, dead, and not even decorated. Also in the character creation of the game the music just weirdly stops?? They forgot to turn the loop? I love exploring the game but the problem is that it pretty empty and not enough decorations put in. And there like what? 4-6 npcs per city not talking about the big city. They couldntve put walking npcs in the fishing village or in Floran Village but they could in Viridis? I'm very disappointed with this game, I expected more to it. I hope they change it way and put more attention and love to it. I got 50 Hours of playtime and completed the storyline. I think this is what i gotta say. Oh! And i saw once there a location where there just a random hole in the map where you can just fall?! Did these game even have testers? Disappointed! That what im going to say.
main problem i have with DoC is that its kinda p2w and a huge time sink. other games look cool tho, especially hinokami

hinokami literally essentially took effects (they completely recreated it from sneaks) from Yaiba, yaiba looks like 100x better than hinokami and id recommend following yaiba more than hinokami.

the idea of being able to move while m1ing is not a good one. it results in just who does more damage and there not being any stun if there was stun and you could move freely while stunning it wouldnt make any sense or be balanced.
