LOVE THIS! I was involved with a community theater production of MAMMA MIA and sold out every performance and added a few more. It was the last show we did before COVID shut us down.
I may or may not have cried when I saw this existed. If you happened to see a girl in the front row sobbing all the way through the second act, it was me xxxx
I wanted to see nicky as donna, I saw her June 30th last year, as rosie, as soon as I found out she was donna I was hyped because I've always imagined her in donna's jumpsuit, and her black dress, I was gonna see her in MAMMA MIA! March 4th, Cardiff Closing Night, and, I got covid 2 weeks prior from MAMMA MIA! London, February 20th, So, Im going to MAMMA MIA! London in August instead.
@@missdonutaltaccount1380 Omg I'm the exact same. I'd always imagined her as Donna and when it was announced I didn't think I'd be able to see her. But I travelled from Norwich to Peterborough so I could! Have a great time with the London cast- they're amazing.
@@pablocapuchino7839That’s exactly what went through my head! It said him on the castboard and it was clearly him on the conductor cam throughout. And then she bowed at the end. It was also a different person the following day so maybe different members of the band took it in turns to bow?

Good point! I actually don't remember that part - this was the first time I had ever seen the show. Hopefully someone else can answer!
They didn't do wedding pictures in Peterborough. Not sure about the other venues.
in Scarbrough open air theatre, I think one of the ensemble did it... not sure about peterborough though

The assistant MD, Nick Tudor! Which brought things very full circle for me, as he was conducting the first time I saw the tour 🥹
@@bonniemcghee05 The woman who bowed was obviously not Nick. She might´ve been the Keyboard 2 or someone else.
