For me it played right at the end of Melodious chant, when your on the hill with Nepecha, right after xilonen tells her she can stay with her. Thats either scripted or immensely good timing. Such a great emotional track. Edit: Seems like this is indeed scripted. Happened for me at kinich quest too and saw a video where it happened in xilonen quest for someone else. still great use of an overworld sound track.
24:04 THIS SONG IS SO GOOD! It perfectly captures that sort of triumphant feeling you get from scaling massive cliffs in Natlan and you’re rewarded with a stunning overlook
When the music hits 19:59, it feels like it's plucking the strings of my heart. I wish it could last longer. It gives me such a nostalgic vibe. Amazing.
16:03 gives me another vibe different of the most of natlan vibes, it gives me the feeling like we know we are in a hot land, but you can stand there, think about beautiful things and find peace. Looks more sad when i got to natlan after left fontaine and say goodbye, but stills so pretty
Why is no one talking about Chirping of Canyons? (6:42) what a gorgeous song, everytime It starts playing I stop and admire Natlan's sceneary along with it ❤
@@mangoman4671 head to the waypoint just north of the scions of the canopy statue, then travel westward until you reach a stream of water. look for a caved in entrance, there’ll be some enemies nearby it. then break the rock formation blocking it using geo. keep breaking the rock formations and you’ll eventually end up in the cave where this plays. it’s not tied to any quests either, just a hidden exploration objective.
@@mangoman4671 A lute version can be heard when you are within range of Sappho Amidst the Waves (local legend). You can hear this when you get all graffiti and unlock the cave underneath Coatepec Mountain, as well as Spiritwall Cave by the waterfall south of the Stadium.
58:46 This track plays periodically in several places, including in the cave with the "star". So, lore experts, can we talk about the fact that this was a very strange and mysterious quest? Will it have a sequel? What is this stone, why is it white under the vision (not only because we could make offerings?) I have a slightly crazy theory, but could this be a fragment of the meteorite in which we or our twin fell when we first found ourselves in Teyvat? Yes, the Irminsul records how our sibling ended up in Kaenri'ah. But: 1. we know that data can be changed, 2. this could mean that before Kaenri'ah he could have been in Natlan, it's just that the "recording" began when he was already in Kaenri'ah.
@@a-passerby This quest starts in the very east of Natlan. If you look at the map, it will be to the right of the "Ancestral Temple" (?)(idk English names of this location and quest), very close to the map border, there is something else there in the form of one large crater and two small ones
It's a very weird quest yeah, though we're unsure of what it is. It's really got no info outside that little quest, so leaps in theories are bound to happen.
@@Eurasian_ I think that quest might not get a sequel. But it rather serves as a quest device to foreshadow something bigger Just as you said, could be where are sibling landed. However I think that's already kind of debunked, as in "The Road Not Taken" where we see the parallels between the twins' journey, they both are at Monstadt at the beginning. But both of these are also contradicted by the fact that Nahida confirms us that our twin's journey began in Khanrieh.
5:05 I love how this song usually plays whenever you appear near the very first statue of the Seven. Overseeing the entire region for the first time with this in the background was magical and this song always makes me stop for a while and take in the scenery
I remember back in eraly 2000s, we still have anime and game soundtrack CDs like the final fantasy ones we bought from comicbook stores. I would've collected these Genshin Soundtracks
00:13:27 Delightful Whimsy! I was waiting for this soundtrack to be released finally. I love it since the Lil' Buddy teaser. I am glad I can now have it

42:53 honestly one of favorites. Sounds like a perfect fun lava-themed track! It was fun just jamming to this in-game while surfing on lava with Mualani :)
37:24 Striving for the Wind is SO excellent and unlike anything I’ve heard in genshin so far. Really brought that feeling of high fantasy to my ears upon hearing it for the first time when finding the temple ruins. Gave me heavy final fantasy vibes.
Heard 14:48 first just when i left the Children of Echoes and saw the huge painted walls. Insane moment Also 46:10 why is this Khaenri'ah world quest so good
The Nocturnal Firmament's Luster such a beautiful song, made me love it even more when it was played at the end of xilonen's story quest when she wished Nepecha a happy birthday :)
I remember the first time I stepped foot in Natlan, Feast and Bounty was the first music I heard and I was already hooked. I was immersed and felt the culture
I've been hearing people say this statement ever since Liyue all the way till now in 5.0 when every new region releases, especially so during Sumeru and now during Natlan. Though its true that the Hoyomix team has been constantly improving, the recency bias is real lol. Calling it now but I bet when Snezhnaya and Khenri'ah releases people are gonna say this EXACT same thing again. We can all have our personal favorites and biases among the OSTs but I think from an objective standpoint every Genshin region's soundtracks has produced its own charm and unique quality unseen in the other regions OSTs that exemplifies the said region and their characteristics, be it from a thematic or story perspective. There's a reason why YPC's many works since 1.0 in the first 4 regions are still so beloved and remembered even till this day. How many people can deny that Rapid as Wildfires or Polumnia Omnia are not memorable? Even the overworld or background tracks such as Fontaine's underwater OSTs stand out on their own, giving off unique ASMR vibes that you don't really see as much in other regions soundtracks. So I think ranking the OSTs against each other is really pointless as they're all uniquely different and everyone has their own preferences to music, and saying that Natlan "power creeps" all other regions is also kind of discrediting the work of all past and current composers.
23:56 why does this sound so familiar? like i heard it while riding the waverider or a soundtrack in watatsumi island. it just has that magical sea paradise type of sound
Using this as study music 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Such peaceful study music
I also do this, the process seems to be faster

23:57 this song popped up while I was doing kinich's quest after he said "For you. I will do anything."😭😭😭😭

ikr such strong nostalgia, reminds me of lots of games i used to play when i was younger
40:56 This OST is actually fire with the acoustic version of Sappho local legend too🔥🔥🔥
23:54 just gives such a warm feeling and the vocals just make it magical
49:02
When you discovered ancient temple and learned the story of the first Pyro Archon Xbalanque, you just stood there and amazed by the ruins
Is that a world quest ? How to start it
35:21 I always feel so happy whenever this theme plays in the game.
Thank you HoYoMiX team.
the last part of Dream of Tranquility at 4:20 might just be my favorite part of the new OST

Fog of the Seasons & Land of Tecalco, these two osts took me by surprise 😮😮 like bro, the vibes... 🫡🫡
Fog Of The Seasons is wild, its so good man
40:55 crazy how the best soundtrack in the region was tucked away in a quiet little cave
Where does this even play cause I've never heard it and feel like I've done every quest in natlan so far
