Great video... Just did this today... couple of things the next guy should know... there are 4 screws securing the bumper/trim which are 'underneath' the front end and not mentioned; the one by each wheel well is easy enough to find... there are 2 others which are recessed and hard to see/find unless you are looking for them... or have the front end up high.. these professionals have a lift.. so no biggie to see that sort of stuff. A shade-tree mechanic like myself has a harder time when reaching under.... so put your Pilot on ramps or jack up the front end, it'll help. Don't need to remove the wheels& there are 3 trim screws (not 2 as in video) per wheel well... but they are accessible without taking off the tires if you have a shortie screwdriver or use a wrench with a screwdriver bit.
If you’re just needing to replace a bulb, you do not need to go through all this trouble! I was able to just take off the air vent cover and the battery ground and reach behind to take off the coupler and replace the low-beam. No need to take off your entire bumper! At least not on my 2014.
No wonder people just use the refinishing kit for their cloudy headlights. A sturdy build, but a way to pump up the labor cost to replace a headlight assembly.
Friends, this is so unnecessary to replace a bulb. Reach around and pop the connector off (push the tab down and pull), turn the dead bulb a 1/4 turn and pull it out. Replace with your good bulb, twist back into place, and reconnect the juice. 5 minute job.
that is the long way, I have no idea why you would do it that way when you could simply just reach in there push the tab down remove the harness turn the headlight bulb quarter of a turn. Remove it, replace it with a new one reconnect the harness. There is no need to take off any of that stuff.

Thank you!! I watched this video a few times before replacing the headlights in a 2012 Pilot. I completed it without any frustration :)
Never had to replace them when they were made out of glass! I miss those days.
Yikes. Glad I watched this before I got myself into this mess. Looks easier to just buy a new car.

I'm about to attempt a double headlight assembly, change out, and all new coil caps and plugs. Gonna be a long day.😂
Ugh seems like a lot but you make it look pretty easy. Good direction and instruction. 👍
Thank you. It worked perfect to help us replace the headlights.

Thank you so much for this video. I may have saved myself up to $1000 by doing this work myself.
excellent instructions I definitely will have a friend help me on this job
This was super helpful. I got the job done thanks to this video!
Thanks just installed new headlights on my 09 pilot
Thank you
You're in too tight, lost me at under bumper...did you lift up the truck or what?
Yeah this is too much for what should be simple
anyone have a part # for that lower bracket?

+@datdude5572 We appreciate the feedback. Sometimes there are multiple ways to accomplish the same repair. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
To install a new seven dollar headlight bulb go ahead and completely disassemble your whole f-ing car

All that for a lightbulb? 🤦🏻♂️
Just change my oil while at it lol
