The incredible thing is that Matt's voice is identical to the recording. Even if there is some amount of magic happening on the audio side, he's driving all of that with an amazing vocal range.
I remember my first time hearing them life, at a concert in munich. Their performance was so perfect that I was starting to worry they might be doing playback. Was relieved and all the more impressed when I could finally hear some deviations from the studio version. They are top notch.

I was ready to agree with the other negative comments about the sound mixing until I simply turned up the volume..a lot. Sound is fantastic, atmospheric and balanced at the right volume, which is probably louder than your normal setting. (A lot of my favorite bands, like Radiohead, mix in a way that isn't suited to bar room or 'casual' listening, but the rich details come alive with the right volume.)
I think that's just the live mix, so during the concert you have not the same perception because it's louder indeed. They maybe have changed the EQ a bit but that's all in my opinion.

A fun piece of music and energy! Another good one from the most recently released, Simulation Theory, this is pleasingly reminiscent of another werewolf-wooing-vampire-vibeing number. Muse’s stamp in definitely heard here and I expect that over the years, we’ll have occasional pieces from Muse that will be there to remind us of this and similar themes from the horror-classics genre. “You'd be afraid if you could feel my pain.”
I think it's beautiful. Muse is one of the best live acts out there, especially in this time of overproduced music. Of course it's not going to sound exactly like the album, or a big performance on a big stage. It's intimate. It's a tiny venue with smaller and different acoustics. I think a lot of people aren't used to, or don't want to be used to the fact that bands grow and change their sounds. It's called evolution. In my opinion, this rendition is amazing for where they played it and thank you Jools for continuing to have Muse as guests on your show. Cheers!
Audio quality is definitely poor. It will be interesting to compare the sound in this performance with Muse’s upcoming performance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, November 13.
