I think the world would be better if people stopped telling men that they need to be ultra-macho or they're not men. Being violent doesn't make you a man, it makes you an idiot. A man is someone who loves his family, who is loyal, honest, who stands up for what he believes in, who doesn't judge others and who practices kindness to all. I could care less if a man can beat up some other guy or bench-press a huge amount, all I care about is that he is a good, kind person.
It's also written in the Bible that working on Sundays is a sin. Wearing clothes made of different fabrics is a sin. Men getting haircuts is a sin. Getting a tattoo is a sin. Not to mention that the Bible also endorses polygamy and sexism and it states that rape victims should have to marry their rapists. The Bible is not the be all, end all. I try to be a good person, to not judge others, to accept people for who they are. If being kind to homosexuals means I'm going to hell, then so be it.
