Wow, I'm Canadian and I've never heard of Canadian white bread before. I guess it's just regular white bread to us. I looked it up and our wheat is required to be higher in protein, which also makes the bread more dense. Look at that, Karen... you're still homeschooling me!
You are a great present wrapper! I AM elderly (78) so I use and reuse gift bags and tissue paper. Easy peasy. Every once in a while I have to wrap something but not too often.
I hate wrapping. When I retired I thought now that I have time I’ll try it again. Nope still hate it. I have used christmassy pillow cases to put the gifts in. This year I will use tea towels for the grown ups and gift bags for the kids.
Just a word of advice for your dishwasher. Please don’t use vinegar in the dishwasher. It is acidic and will eat away at the rubber and a lot of the pipes for rinse cycle are rubber. Just a thought to help you keep it running. Check with your manufacturer because mine says not to use vinegar. Love your videos
Play doh with cookie cutters is always fun (I put a disposable tablecloth under the table for easy clean up) Jigsaw puzzles. Setting up dominos and knocking them down. I use to have these large cardboard building blocks that my boys loved. Not sure if you have a savers but I'm sure most thrift stores do it too, they put together misc. small toy bags. These are fun little surprises and you never know what your going to get and when your grandkids are gone you could keep or just redonate. Your grandson is at a great age to play games with like connect four or go fish. Honestly cardboard boxes, tape, glue, string, crayons cotton balls...its amazing what a childs imagination can create 💕 I remember my boys build a zoo💕
I turned 60 in October and am still trying to adjust. My mind goes to thinking how much closer I'm getting to dying instead of how many great years I have left. I have changed my clothing style and am doing more self care. What brand of foundation do you use? I really want to try going back to putting on makeup again .I'll take any suggestions for a good foundation .

I love your tip to quickly write the person's name directly on the wrapped gift and then do the labels all at once later on.

I had six cats. The rule in our house is if the cats are comfortable don’t move them. I’ve slept on the couch as not to disturb them

What a considerate kitty mom you are. I just love seeing them in your videos. The music was nice, but the version of Silent Night was beautiful.

@ThisMainerMom I thought it was a lot worse than it was because I forgot I decluttered most of it

I could not find the link to your cat cups?
My stuff is stashed. I have very naughty kitties. My boy kitty will chew on just about anything.
