Both of these homes are beautiful especially the first one. There were so many details to appreciate, the stained glass windows and all the woodwork. They certainly had some talented carpenters back then, thanks for the tour.
We're hermetically sealed in our drywall palaces of today, and were they deserted for just a few years, I'm sure they'd melt into a pile of moldy goo and debris. Sad to see that someone stripped the first home of its over-mantels, out of context they aren't worth much at all. Thanks for a thought provoking video.
Thanks for sharing another wonderful video i really enjpoyed it so much . i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my community tab. and God Bless.
There were outside shots done of the house but would love to see the inside as well….maybe none was ever done which is a shame…..would love to have seen the inside in it’s time as well ❤ thank you for another awesome video ❤
The first house which had a lot of architectural beauty shuch as the intact fret work and the stain glass was simply stunning. These beautiful Ladies were also built structural sound and very practical as well. Such as staircase built on the north side to block the cold winter wind. And the size of the windows as you mentioned air flow. There was no wasted spaces like today. Also the materials they were made from. Insects don't like hardwood. As always I throughly enjoy your videos and thank you for keeping these gorgeous homes in the public eye.
