- THE STORM HAS COME AND GONE AND IT IS TIME TO LEAVE OUR PHILIPPINES BEACH HOME IN DAVAO ORIENTAL AND HEAD TO CANADA!
But first, we drive through the Province and stop off in Caraga. Where we find a unique local fish dish at a eatery. First time I have experienced these little river fish... uniquely cooked in vinegar and a Banana Leaf! Life has been a little choatic lately sorting out things before myself and Therine head to Canada. But hey, all is good, and I have sorted everything out and made my flight for Manila!

Holy Smokes, when are we getting a Kulas / Kumar adventure, it’s been so long 🤔, I need it and THE WORLD NEEDS IT 🙏
Random Thoughts =
1) Kyle is sooo unapologetically Filipino these days!! From walking on the beach during a heavy storm ... to eating sardines rt out of the can ... to smothering arroz caldo with garlic chips. Ayos lang, Kabayan Kulas!
2) Has anyone noticed how Kyle is more playful, less stress, HAPPIER even, since vacationing with Therine - before their Japan trip? Love is definitely in the air! 🥰
3) Christmas in CANADA with Therine is gonna be memorable and EPIC!! Can't wait!! 🇵🇭 🎄 🎁 🇨🇦 ☃️🥂 🎊 🇵🇭

@01:49 These kind of rain is what we used to enjoy back then when were still kids back in the province. We don't have shower in our bathrooms and and when the strong rain comes, this is the opportunity for us to bath in a "shower" outside our homes 😀. When it floods, we also find it very fun so we can make rafts out of fallen banana trunks to enjoy "boating" in the flood. Its truly enjoyable growing up in the province in the Philippines back then.

Really, there's nothing one could do once mother nature decides to wreak havoc. As a grade school kid growing up in Iloilo City, our house had a basement where my cousin had his bedroom. It would get flooded during storms. Of course us kids would turn it into an indoor swimming pool. Once outside, we would look for fallen banana trunks, tie it altogether, fashion a raft out of it and row in the water all around our compound which comprises of three separate homes....those were the days.

I enjoyed storms there. For some reason my siblings and I would always love to play in it or stare out the window and soak it all in. Rain in a tropical place is magical. But that was when it didn't rain buckets for hours on end. Stay safe out there!
