Israelis really sing from the heart. I was at this show, a terrific show. But in general - Israelis are one big family, as an Israeli it is a feeling that cannot be explained. When I stand in the crowd I feel like I'm singing with my brothers. Without differences of religion, race or gender, even those who are not Israeli in the audience will feel and be given the feeling that they are part of this huge family. This is an Israeli character, direct, honest, without hiding, without ego and games - bringing themselves and their soul with all their might. This is why there is something very connecting and warming in Israeli concerts.😃

Hi I love your reactions and I share them with all my co-workers you're a great person and have a lot of guts going into this blindly but that's what we love about you so don't change your vidoes. I do think that it would be so awesome and fun for you to do a live stream so we could recommend videos while doing it so you wouldn't start it with a list you would go in not knowing what songs your going to react to.
Check out these live songs: Mishehu iti khan (someone is here with me) by Bnaya barebi: th-cam.com/video/QE9iHj0ZrIM/w-d-xo.html Dvarim yafim lirot (beautiful things to see) by Idan amedi: th-cam.com/video/agoWZ6zqwh4/w-d-xo.html Ima im haiti (mother if i could) by Hana ben ari, Nathan goshen, Ishay ribo, Idan amedi: th-cam.com/video/yVVKux6CmRY/w-d-xo.html
Another great video! *There are songs you can play with subtitles on TH-cam. More Israeli artists you should try: Amir Dadon, Idan Raichel, Avraham Tal, Idan Amedi and Shlomo Artzi. I think you will like songs from Idan Raichel's project. There are also great female Israeli singers, but this is less suitable for the orthodox audience who are careful not to hear women sing.
Are you familiar with the Eurovision song contest? Want to recommend you watch Israel's entry from 1979, "Halleluya" th-cam.com/video/BX6-z-OOvQA/w-d-xo.html It's very sweet and wholesome and has an amazing classic sort of arrangement, IMO. This from back when this competition was more about the songs, so it's much less flashy than it is today. A little context: that year the Eurovision took place in Israel, after the Israeli entry "Abanibi" won the previous year. I recommend that one too, it's much faster and more fun: th-cam.com/video/pOH-sojmLJY/w-d-xo.html
Hey, im a huge fan of your videos. My whole family is subscribed to you and love your videos. We would like you to react to a song from the yeshiva boy's choir. It's called Daddy come home. It's a Hanukkah song. Since Hanukkah is coming up it would be the perfect time to watch and react to it. Thanks we would really appreciate it. And I'm sure you will too! All the best.
One more recommendation, if you want to hear women singing Jewish music, I recommend this choir (all religious-Orthodox women, and yes, they have Rabbinical approval 😉). It's called Hallel choir, and their leader is Merav Brenner, who is also a singer in her own right: This one is a cover of a Yaakov Shwekey song, the lyrics are from the song that was sung by the Hebrews after the splitting of the Red Sea: th-cam.com/video/CR300za7IPg/w-d-xo.html This one is a cover of the Omer Adam song you reacted to a while back "I Thank You" (morning prayer) th-cam.com/video/wH8wy3kuzGI/w-d-xo.html
Hey man, been watching a whole lot of your videos recently, just trying to get a vibe for what your channel is all about, i see pretty much all your videos are related to the jewish religion? Also i am curious if you stream on twitch?
Also if you want to do another reaction to a song, here is a song a friend of mine recently put out, he is trying to break into the jewish music scene and would love the exposure! th-cam.com/video/gb5rSSa53Z0/w-d-xo.html
Hey General, appreciate the views/taking the time to comment. My "vibe" is just reacting to things i find interesting, or that I may have an opinion on. Lately it has definitely been more Jewish oriented (which was by accident. A Viewer from Twitch linked my the Miami Boys choir video, and after watching it got kind hooked on the Jewish music scene.) Since then, just been trying to educate myself a little more and more with each video, whether it be music/documentaries, or Just the comments from the Viewers/Subs. I haven't really been on Twitch as of lately since I use that time I'd normally be on streaming to record/upload now. I don't have a lot of Free time, so trying to record as well as stream is a little tricky. However I do plan on getting back into Twitch a little more. However my Twitch is mainly for gaming, so if you were hoping to catch me reacting to something, that probably won't happen 😅. Thanks again!
Bro, amazing content. You should start reaching out to podcasters and have some dialogue. Broaden the scope of your chanel. I would love also to learn other world musical cultures via your reactions. Keep it up!
No idea where I would find or go about finding Jewish podcasters lol. And I'm not opposed to "broadening", however I'm still just getting into recording and uploading 😅...not sure if I should be dipping my toes into too many pools. Totally agree, I've done some Portuguese, and might try out some others as well. But also trying to be respectful, especially since I think a good majority of singers I enjoy are female 😅.
@@PortuguesePai You have a ton of subscribers that would love to discover the genres that you enjoy. Those who don't listen to female artists will simply wait for the next videos you upload. In terms of Podcasting, in your next video you can put it out there and see if anyone would be interested in doing a one on one with you via Zoom or the likes. Prepare a list of questions that tickle your curiosity and see where it goes.
Now they you started looking into more Israeli music I think you should give omer adam another try. The video you saw was not his best performance you can try another track from that album thanks🙏
Hi great videos keep the music videos coming. Love your positive outlook on the community as well of course. Just a recommendation to check out eighth day music video Called look up. The nice thing is it’s all in English.
Haha, that might actually deter me from watching it. Many have suggested songs with English lyrics, or English subtitles, and that's not really something I'm looking for. I enjoy listening to the songs the way they are, cause I can go off other aspects and try to get a feel of the song. (Granted, I still get the majority wrong, but I can still seem to get something). I probably will check it out regardless, since I enjoyed listening to 8th days song. But ya, English isn't something I'm looking for. Thanks as always for taking the time to comment/watch/recommend. Much appreciated 👍🏼
Loving the videos. I think you should check out Simcha Leiner again, the video you picked wasn't the best representation. Here is a great one that I think you will enjoy more: th-cam.com/video/Us6KmJm5suo/w-d-xo.html

Here is the translation.
So I'm closing a week without you, are you thinking of giving up?
I don't believe you have to hide
Because all the problems are piling up
And finally it will only hurt more
It is to pass the step
grow up to be hurt
It's putting the idiot and nonsense aside
just sit and relax
So I step on a gun and aim far away
I sweat and then take a deep breath
I wipe a tear and then start laughing
as if nothing had happened
And I'm drunker than you so I walk slowly
And it's dark in your place, so help me a little
Exactly a second before the ball was ejected
You don't see a goal
So where are you when reality returns?
So where are you when the imagination runs out?
so where are you
So I'm ready, maybe we'll start putting the cards on the table
You broke down the walls I lean on
So if I fall, the pain will be much greater
So I bury all the pain and the tears on the piano
All the letters, I don't want it anymore
So I'm too tired to think deeply
And I'm too heavy to fly far
And I want so much but can't shout
Because it's too quiet here
And I walk barefoot through empty streets
And I suddenly remember dead memories
And when the light rises above difficult nights
He walks over me
So where are you when reality returns?
So where are you when the imagination runs out?
so where are you
On the roads the rain is dripping, I'm on 140
Thinking what to say to you and grabs your face
It's real, almost every minute I thought where you would be
When reality returns
When reality returns
That's a heavy song
Wow, ya indeed heavy. Sounds like I was sort of on the right page too 😅. Music is so powerful
