I've heard him talk about doing Muay Thai before. From what I remember it seemed like something he did in his early 20s for 1-2 years and he did compete (fights or tournaments) I don't think it was really high-level but that was his fighting experience. I think he's also been a sports nerd to where he really dives deep into learning about the sports he's interested in.

With that said, if he actually knocks out HS then it will be harder for him to walk away. He has had very good success with his channel and commentating. Commentating is something he loves so I think he just wants another thing for his resume at least.
