If only Carbon allowed bonus and quick race cars to be purchasable and customizable for Career mode, then it would make the game a bit better.

You actually can do that by modding the game for example I made the BMW M3 GTR modded into the Nissan GTR R35 Nismo as the exotic class starter car.

I think it would be funnier if Custom cars would have upgrades. Chevelle with 6 gears? Who can make upgrades for bonus cars?

some of them have upgrades some of them don't

theres a mod called “tuning mod” made by 379felipe
it adds upgrades to most bonus cars, such as m3 gtr and le mans
