The fact you were instinctive enough to follow her because you thought she was "trying to tell you something " and she was instinctive and trusting enough to tell you, is proof enough you were meant to care of them. Thats probably a wild dog from day one and they damn sure don't trust many folks or anything at all for that matter. Gives me a little faith in humanity for sure.

Some 15 years ago one stray dog always used to follow my parents on a walk. She used to follow us wherever we went. We used to give her roti or biscuits whenever se used to come at our door. Once she gave 9 puppies in monsoon season. Me my parents were very worried they were all soaked in rain and the the place where she kept them there was a small brick roof build by some children. My brother every day used to visit her. One day that wall fell and the poor dog came to our door step howling on our gate for help. Me and my brother we brought all the 9 puppies and her inside and fed them soon after we gave all the puppies except one and kept for us. Our dog died in November 2019. And her pup is grown well and is with us. This video brought back memories.

Nearly 7 months ago a mother dog with 2 healthy puppies suddenly appear near our house. The mother dog was very thin and malnourished so my father starts to put a bowl of food near the mother dog. At first the dog would bark heavily at my father but within 1 week she stopped barking and one day she even wagged her tail, thats the moment we saw a sign of trust in her eyes and few day later we took her and her babies to our house. Today the mother dog loves my father like anything and she follow my father nearly everywhere and the babies are now permanent members of our family....😘😘😘❤

I also feed 3 stray dogs. They love us. But they have become ao naughty that they ask every passerby to pet them and ask for food or treat n don’t let them go. All three of them doesnt allow to pass our street. You need to pay tax (treat or pet them) if you want pass through our street. Naughty monsters they have become.

I had the same situation but it was the baby’s that asked to take care of the mother dog. Eventually I took the mother dog to the vet with the baby’s to treat them and remove any virus away from them and now I see them everyday healthy. It’s been 6 years there living with us happily ever after

I had a dog like that too. She would come to the bus station to pick me up when my school is over. She was really special. She wasnt my dog but she was my dog. Sadly she passed away this January from some disease. Thank you for being so kind my dear friend. You've saved a mother's heart and soul

The dog was indeed lucky to have you as her friend. Bless you for this wonderful kind act. Always keep the closet fully covered with a big heavy wooden or metal sheet so that nothing can fall inside and they can't topple it from outside too. I have done that with the toilet in my outhouse. Though the door is always shut and nothing can enter i worry about the many squirrels on our trees. Posts like these are my battery chargers. Thank you for posting this happy story. If you can please also spay her. May everything good happen to you.

I ve adopted an abandon female dog.she gave birth to 5 puppies.2 are given in good families.3 with mom are staying in my house.She has shownme a new angle of life.I was lonely that time.

@KnowledgeHub I am not great when she delivered babies in my lawn We took it as God will.Now they all have a home.I cook for them clean them regular shampoo their skin and take care of ticks. Some times I fed up of their barking .Cannot sleep due to mid night bark but they are family now

@Zapper Zapped I used to feed street dog everyday. She had babies once and one of them was crawling to the road. I went to keep the dog with it's mom. But the mother dog tried to bite me. Even though I feed her everyday, I didn't gain her trust. The dog in video trusts the guy completely.
