For those who have never been to Spain. This music invoked visions of the country like nothing else. This music is Spain.
This woman is amazing! She can make her guitar sound like a harp, a piano, a koto or any instrument she chooses. Brilliant!

This performance deserves the highest praise. It is simply magnificent and is enhanced by those deep rich tones from the Smallman guitar.
I remember in 2004 I went to a concert in Beijing to watch the play of Xuefei and another student of Chen Zhi, I was quite impressed that at such a young age they could play guitar that well.
Now I watched this and it really blow my mind away, wow how is it possible to play a music as beautiful as that! She has become a master guitar player.
I think this is one of the best performances of this piece that I have heard. Xuefei is a true virtuoso. I love the clean pure tones from her guitar.
Her performances tend to bring me to tears!!!!! Everything she shows us is so beautiful and so elegant!!!! A great musician!!!!

Her musical phrases are unbelievably fluid and the feelings flow so naturally. This is by far the very best interpretation I have ever heard!

Of all the performances of this Concerto that I know (the first was with John Williams and Ormandy in 1966) this is the first one where I could hear all the notes of the guitar in a clear, unambiguous way. Bravo, Ms. Yang, you are already one of the greatest virtuosi of this beautiful instrument.

Tuve la suerte de ser aceptado para ensayar y tocar con varias orquestas cuando era niño. Comencé en la segunda sección de violín al lado del Tympani. Compartiendo el atril conmigo fue la chica distraída y linda que había ganado el primer lugar en el concurso de ortografía del condado, venciéndome dos años seguidos. Tuvimos un montón de diversión.
