I had flown one totally stock, smaller motor on 4s. It flies fine, but not terribly exciting. If you just want a plane that looks like a Komet... But if you want performance, the .60 size is the way to go. I have a Rimfire .60 (no longer made) -- the Avian equivalent is a great motor. Leopard makes great motors too -- find one similar size and Kv. 6s- 5000, timer set to 7 minutes. If you search my vids you will find the first one I made which was heavily modified and detailed -- and a couple pounds heavier -- that flew with the very same Rimfire, so you can imagine the performance this one is getting.
