GREAT tribute! I am 65 and used to watch Ric's Corner all the time talking and interviewing the Stars of the Golden Era. I consider Ric very talented in acting on the HULK and creative with his hands as his Gold's Gym tees display, so much talent and drive yet very grounded, with a knee operations, etc. still made the Ric's Corner with no complaints--RIP
I didn't know rick died 😔 he was one of the people I listened to online when I was getting into bodybuilding and just trying to better myself ill miss him.
I was subscribed to this channel from a different account and lost access, so I haven’t been looking at fitness channels for a few years. I remembered Ric and wanted to come see some new videos. My eyes filled with tears when I realized why his last video was two years ago. I learned so much from his videos and I’m extremely sad that he’s gone. He changed lives of people that he didn’t even know. Love you Ric.
I lost my site December 11, 2013, I started on watching horse should I say, listening to Rick Dragons channel maybe two years after I lost my site, that’s when I get turned on to Rick drowsing, in a few years that I’ve been listening to his own channel on TH-cam, I’ve grown tremendously, not just lifting weights, but in being a man, I especially liked, how he would have women on his show, and he would not do anything foul, August, He will be a total gentleman, and that’s what I really appreciated about him so, rest in peace Mr Dre is in, God bless your family and friends thank you
Can't believe it's been over a year since Ric passed on. I could have sworn it was more like 6 months. You are still missed Ric. I hope your family are doing well.
I truly miss this guys show. Im currently in India hiking to Tibet and in in a crap hole ,horrible dirty hotel that would of been shut down 50 years ago watching this. I really looking forward to his next video.
I was an intermittent watcher for years and I'd often have the thought "let me check in on ric" today I did so and with a heavy heart saw this posted. Your tips and advise when I started working out over 10 years ago are tips that I use to this day. A life dedicated to good and a heart of gold. God bless
Marklesfield I did the same thing... I was like , I haven’t seen his latest video , I wonder what’s up..I had a feeling something had happened. I was heartbroken when I found out he passed. He was an inspiration to me. No one gave better old school trading advice than he did.Never knew him personally but miss him all the same. Love you Ric. RIP
It is an honour to watch this show and this very episode and send the message to the entire world RIC DRASIN IS,WAS AND WILL BE A MYTH AND PERSONAL HERO TO THOUSANDS OF US!
Ric is just listening in with that grin on his face. Good to see Arnie and all the other golden era guys paying their respects to the man, the myth, the legend.
My dad passed a year ago around this time… Around this time last year I was watching ric videos and found out he passed.. it saddens me as I was always into lifting weights and wrestling… I Hope you’re both resting in peace .
Gonna miss Ric. I learned so much from him and his videos. Why on earth would anyone hit the dislike button on a man's memorial? Couldn't they have just close the video if they didn't like it. Their life must be really miserable to not even give respect to someone who just passed away.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ric at a restaurant in burbank.. he was a wonderful guy.. that giving nature that came through in videos was real, very real. RIP sir!
Fyi I didnt know he passed until last night . I had a question about a particular bodybuilder and thought I would see If ric posted info about it.. that's when I found out.. his contributions were immeasurable
loved his cadence and storytelling a mans man. I was really into bodybuilding 6 years ago and havent kept up with it and I just came across Ric again, sad to hear he passed away lobed his vidz
I've loved Ric's channel for years and years, I can't remember how I came across his channel but I'm glad I did, he will be missed by many and I'll forever miss his interviews, it's a shame he never got an interview with Arnold, R.I.P Ric Drasin.
The Steve Davis interviews were great! Want a crash course on how to get in shape and stay in shape - watch the Robby Robinson episodes! Robby and Leroy Colbert spot on with nutrition advice! Just a great channel!
I did not know rick personally but feel like I do through ric’s corner. I am a man in my 50’s who has always lived and appreciated a fitness lifestyle. As I now slowly enter into this ‘’Next phase” of life I found ric to be a valuable mentor and a tremendous source of inspiration and hope. A bellwether and living proof that you can gracefully age and maintain a healthy, happy, stimulating and active lifestyle. You were a blessed man ric, living life on your own terms and having plenty of love and support from family and friends. There is much I have learned from your valuable content, most importantly to try and stay positive and keep moving forward in the face of adversity. I wish I could have had the opportunity to meet you in person. God speed sir.
Ric, I learned so much from watching your videos. You were one of the first to speak on working out over 40. Thank your all you did and your information.
Wow Ric. I just thought about you today due to all the good advice you give to young men about retirement, obesity, liver, and heart health. I always check in every once in a while. This time, the news made my heart heavy. You are a good man and you have a beautiful family. Thank you for always being a man of the people and a family man. Lots of bodybuilders are dying young nowadays. I hope your words can reach many out there and they take the route you took and learn to retire in the right time and pursue health and longevity to be there for your grandkids and be a grandfather. RIP Ric. Much love to the Drasins. Thank you for voluntarily sharing this monumental hard time in your life with Ric's fanbase. I appreciate you guys so much. Ric's legacy lives loudly and spread overwhelmingly. Blessings.
RiP Granpa of Bodybuilding. Been watching his videos for years ever since I'm interested in old school workout and those classical physiques. He and late leroy Colbert whom also had a youtube channel before he passed on. Taught alot of workout routine and diet which today's people dont follow. Learn alot from these dudes. Such expensive knowledge they had and sharing to us all is priceless. RiP...💪💪💪
I had no idea he passed away until before I came to this video today...I think I originally found his channel on here watching him interview Rich Piana. Sad to see you're no longer with us, but you lived one hell of a full life. RIP to both Ric & Rich..
I spent almost every night in the last 5 years watching Ric's corner, A big part of my life even though I never met him. I felt like my Dad had gone. Very sad. But what a life he had. I guess I'll have to spend more time with my wife now!
It’s been some time but I just wanted to point out how cool of a guy he was, always took the time for us viewers and answered questions and was always so nice and kind to everyone I’ve watched his videos for a long time and I still can’t believe he is gone Thank you for putting this together and I wish nothing but the best to his friends and family Thank you
Hi Shane. My dad used to be a podiatrist and Rick was a patient. When I was young, I used to see you and your dad wrestle. It was so crazy and thrilling as a kid. You also made me a custom red fender guitar 🎸 that I still play today. I’m sorry to hear about Rick. Hope all is well. Love from the Runyon Family.
I met Ric and his family many, many years ago while working at Nat's Coffee shop. I remember when I first met him he looked so intimidating that I was nervous to go up to his table. After taking his order I walked away very surprised that someone who looked tough as a rock could be so darn funny and kind. From that day on he became one of my most favorite people to see at Nat's. He was truly larger than life with a personality that just made your day. Ric was good people. Sadly, I had not seen Ric or his family in ages, but he was so unforgettable that I could never forget what it was like to be in his presence. I will always cherish the smiles he brought on. My condolences to his kids, his family, and his friends. Peace and love to you Ric.
Quite a force of nature , boy did he enrich & touch so many lives. Bravo Ric Drasin, rest In peace condolences to his family and friends a life well lived.
