Price is a huge difference here. At In N' Out's price, there is no competition. Shake Shack is in another category and isn't really fast food, it's more like fast casual/diner. You'll pay twice as much at Shake Shack easily.
Emily's characters are always **chef's kiss** Her accents are excellent and she goes all in, even making consistent individualized mannerisms for each. it's magical.
I love how this show still put that “blooper” 9:48 it’s what honestly makes this show the best series on TH-cam! A genuine funny moment that isn’t planned is sometimes the best moment in the show. I look forward to watching y’all shows everyday and always looking forward to the next episode!

I'm surprised that neither Rhett nor Link commented even once on the HUGE price difference between the two restaurants. For example, with the milkshake Link factored into his rating that Shake Shack had more flavors of shakes than In-N-Out but didn't even mention that the shake from Shake Shack was over DOUBLE the price of the shake from In-N-Out.
Even before seeing the results, there's a pretty significant price gap between the two. I wouldn't say they really compete with each other as much as other places.

Yeah that's the one thing I have a hard time with when it came to their judgements. In-N-Out isn't a premium burger, it's a consistent good one with a reasonable price tag. As someone from California living on the east coast the closest comparison I have found so far with a similar price point is Checkers/Rally's. But the quality just isn't the same.

I never realized that animal style fries at In-N-Out was a secret menu item, it's so popular that I thought it must've been on the main menu, but it isn't, which is kind of cool.
At In-N-Out you can tell them how crispy you want your fries, how done you want your burger, if you want your buns toasted, pretty much ANYTHING you want, made to your liking...

I have to agree with this. I had built up this "thing" about getting In-n-out and when I finally did I thought that Shake Shack and Habit Burger are better, but the best I've ever had was the Mooyah Burger that is a New Jersey based chain that was in Miami but didn't survive the pandemic

I've never had In-N-Out, but I'd love to try it. Shake Shack is legit though, I used to work right around the corner from the Madison Square Park location (the OG one), and it's amazing. Though you do have to put your order in like 3 hours in advance or risk waiting forever for your food.
A point I haven't seen anyone make yet: in-n-out doesn't have a veggie burger. Shake shack has the shroom burger which is so good. I know burger places aren't typically vegetarian friendly by nature, but I love a good veggie burger!
I work at in-n-out and we do have two vegetarian options: the grilled cheese and the veggie burger. The only difference between the two is cheese. The "veggie burger" is literally just spread, lettuce, tomato, and onion on the bun. But they're both really popular with Hindu people

Why is it funny?
I've never had In-N-Out, but I'd love to try it. Shake Shack is legit though, I used to work right around the corner from the Madison Square Park location (the OG one), and it's amazing. Though you do have to put your order in like 3 hours in advance or risk waiting forever for your food.
Also In-n-out is far cheaper. I think it's even cheaper than McDonald's.

A point I haven't seen anyone make yet: in-n-out doesn't have a veggie burger. Shake shack has the shroom burger which is so good. I know burger places aren't typically vegetarian friendly by nature, but I love a good veggie burger!
I work at in-n-out and we do have two vegetarian options: the grilled cheese and the veggie burger. The only difference between the two is cheese. The "veggie burger" is literally just spread, lettuce, tomato, and onion on the bun. But they're both really popular with Hindu people
