Was a scooter riding mod from 1963 to 1968, Rode from the bus terminal at Heysham to Bare Park all along the seafront, Me in my pinstripe blue suit, black shirt, white tie, and my now wife in a very nice leather coat, Good Times, but we were told that if we got in any trouble, then its good bye job and good bye future!! Never had any trouble any where we went, Good to see the scooters out. Stay safe and ENJOY!!

What smashing weather you had for it, I'd of gone but for having a birthday party to attend. The dated footage at the end was a nice touch, thought I was back in the 80s on the Morecambe rally. Although that usually had skinheads running amok 😁
Why do they think it's ok to block the road so all the comedy scooter boys can ride out together, we never did that in 1967 but we were real mods in slim fit Italian suits and proper parka with loake loafers. Not overweight old men in their 60s trying to relive their youth.

there was loads of RAs in there they fit in nicely tbf the 4 stroke vespas on the other hand arent easy on the eye
