I can't believe Tim, Elfi, and Al managed to talk through this whole beam set without once commenting on Gabby's performance, she nailed some somersaults, she wobbled on some others and a few other elements, but the whole time the commentators could only seem to chat about how Gabby was only here on exhibition. Say it once, then comment on the gymnast's routine. Jeez.
i dont get why tim is still a commentator, he gets his facts, like the gymnasts names, wrong all the time and his impressions of martha are just horrific and insulting.
Yeah... and Marta doesn't really deserve any sympathy, but I'm shocked that a professional commentator would think that poorly impersonating someone's accent would make for a cute joke during a major TV broadcast. . . WTF

You can tell who the real gymnastics fans are, because they remember that at this point in her career, very few people knew who she was (You'll note all the comments are from a few months ago). There are too many fly-by night gym fans who think that everyone in the world knew Gabby from the time she was 3 years old.
Show's how gymnastics savvy you aren't...Gabby went on to win the Olympics 6 months after this meet, and had the second highest beam score of anyone at the Olympics. How any Olympic medals do you have? How many Olympic Teams have you made??? World Championships??? I didn't think so.

And her sister and the host dad in iowa talked her into staying. By mar she was a completely different gymnast. She was the best all around gymnast that year. If she hit all her routines she could outscored aly and jordyn. Hell she almost won 2012 nationals with a fall.
