Lauren n Steve both our gparents were born and we are related lauren you n I by bloodlawn. How small of a world it is both our pairs of gparents were born their and our great gpas fought and died together in ww1 I met Heather at a Scottish family ww1 american reunion amd we learned our great grandfathers were best friends and died together. 2 years as pen pals and friends she said Buckle is sending me to Grand Rapids from Minnsota for training can you pick me up at the airport id love to see you again! That was July 2013. Well here we are 5 years later my gpas 99 flying back to his hometown where he was born and fled ww2 in 1939 to return in 1944 to fight the Nazis. I am 50% Scottish 25% Norwegian 25% Dutch. But what a wonderful woman I am Marrying my best freind. My soulmate. My heart! Everyday I think of her everu second! To think pur Great Grandfathers were best friends in the royal army and died together and here we are getting married in the same place you both are. We are Scottish 100% always and forever but we love oir country. I fought in Iraq amd Afaganistan & Bosnia and 2 of my best men are Scottish live south way south. But I cant wait to Marry the LOVE of my life where all my bloodlawn is from. I hope you join is in November. Lauren your Father is my moms 3rd cousin. I cant wait to see my MOTHER LAND!
